GENERAL INFORMATION:
I have good Code and plant knowledge and was appointed as acting Group leader a
couple of times when the appointed Group leader was on leave. Apart from my Inspection
responsibilities I am also responsible to maintain the standby roster and leave roster for
our Inspection Group. I also have the responsibility to keep the Non conformance and
Concession files for our Group up to date. I have good experience on Quality insurance
and Quality Control Management in the outside market and worked on a lot of other
petrochemical plants and Power Stations with a lot of different contractors. I know how to
handle conflict in a professional manner. I am always taking part in team activities and like
to work with other people in a team. I have worked on various Shutdowns in the outside
market such as Mossgas, Engen, Natref, Sasol 1, Sappi Ngodwana, and on Power
Stations such as Hendrina, Arnot, Matla, Duvha, and Matimba. I’ve got good experience
on both the statutory and AIA sides on new fabrication and repairs. I have also done a
couple of projects in Italy of which one is still presently ongoing.
