1. On His way to Jerusalem, as
Jesus was going into a village,
ten men who were unwell met Him.
“Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
they called in a loud voice.
Based on Luke 17:11–19 NIV.
Jesus Heals Ten Lepers

2. When Jesus saw
the men, He told
them, “Go and show
yourselves to the
priests.”
As the men went on
their way to see the
priests, they were
healed.

3. When one of the men saw
that he was healed, he
returned to Jesus praising
God in a loud voice. He
threw himself at Jesus’ feet
and thanked Him.
Jesus asked the man, “Were
not all ten men healed?
Where are the other nine?”

4. “Are you the only one who
has returned to give praise
to God?” Jesus asked.
“I do not know, Master, but
I am forever grateful that
I am well again!” said the
grateful man.
Jesus told the man, “Stand
up and go on your way. Your
faith has made you well.”
This story is a good reminder to
show Jesus gratitude for what
He does for you. Be like the man
who thanked Jesus by offering
praise and thanksgiving for
your many blessings.
