What are they?
Are writing systems invented
by the ancient Egyptians.
Was used from the
predynastic until the fourth
century.

                
Three basic types of writing:

    Hieroglyphic, hieratic and
    demotic; last the letter
    corresponds to the late
    period of egypt.  .




                   
When it began to use?
       Began to be used toward 3300.
                    b.C.,
     at about the same time that arose
     in Mesopotamia cuneiform. It was
    used for over 3600 years, since the
      last known inscription is recorded
       on 24 August 394 and is in the
              temple of Philae.
                       
Were carved in:

    The hieroglyphs were carved
    in stone and wood, or, in the
    case of hieratic and demotic
     writing with pen and ink on
      papyrus, ostraca, or less
           durable media.
                   
As were reserved:
  Hieroglyphic writing was reserved for the
royal monuments, temples, palaces, tombs,
 jewelry, furniture court, amulets, etc.., For
 reasons not only aesthetic, but also for its
symbolic and magical, then record the name
   of a person in hieroglyphic implied that
  making a mistake in writing it or the fact
damage, could influence the person referred
               hieroglyph said.
