Rutherfordton, NC: one of two RN second shift staff in outpatient department. Responsible
for discharge of post op surgery and procedure patients, including cardiac cath., blood
transfusions, chemotherapy, outpatient surgical procedures, dobutamine infusions,
obtaining post procedure labs. Department managed overflow ER patients including
pediatrics for IV antibiotic infusions, simple suturing and casting. Assisted physicians with
patients needing chemical cardoversion.
 1993-1994 Staff Office Nurse Hillcrest Family Practice, Spartanburg, SC. Office nurse for 3
physicians. Pediatric to Geriatric Patients. DOT physicals, immunizations, TB testing.
Patient education. Phlebotomy. Obtained insurance authorizations as mandated by HMO,
PPO insurance policy primary care physician practice.
 1983-1990 Surgery Nurse, circulator Mary Black Hospital, Staff Nurse in Urology Office for
Drs. Arnett, Kinard and Williams, Circulator in Same Day Surgery Spartanburg Hospital
System, including FDA clinical trials in Dornier Lithotripsy.
In 1990 left hospital nursing to take care of my mother during her treatment for Lung Cancer.
In 2011 left hospital nursing to care for my mother in law and father in law.
