an advanced Microbiology course and I obtained 4 credits.
Worcester State College 1992, I completed an advanced Chemistry
course and obtained 4 credits.
I continue to attend the IVECCS (International Veterinary Emergency
Critical Care Society) conferences annually to obtain CE’s required to assure
that my license to practice is current. I am also seeking to obtain my
certification from Massachusetts.

I was one of the emergency critical care technicians in this 24 hour referral
hospital. My responsibilities included but, not limited to, triage and trauma
management. I was responsible for the pre-operative and post-operative
management of the emergent surgical patients. Trained and supervised
support staff. Assisted my criticalist during surgeries. Induced, maintained
and monitored anesthesia. I assisted interns to achieve their technical
skills.
June 2005, I was appointed as Head Technician of ICU and ER. Trained
and supervised support staff. Provided organization, prioritization and
maintained the highest quality of continuity of patient care. I maintained
the hospital inventory including controlled substances. Assisted clinicians
and interns with treatment protocols and taught technical skills. I educated
my clients with the details of their pet’s illness and assisted them with at
home treatments at the time of discharge. (I relocated to MA.)

Head Technician: Primarily responsible for recruiting, training and
supervision of technical support staff in all aspects of hospital procedure
including maintenance of hospital inventory. Provided assistance,

rooms and surgery as needed. I have a strong working knowledge of
Avimark software. (I relocated to VA.)
