Served as staff nurse and mentor on the medical oncology and surgical units with opportunities to assist in teaching the
nursing students when they were on the units. My interaction with the students was noticed with interest by Castleton
Clinical Nursing staff resulting in a position being offered to me, as a clinical nursing instructor, by the university.
