THE SHOPPING LIST INGREDIENTS: 2.5 tablespoons Panko Breadcrumbs 1 tablespoon Milk 1/2 medium Onion, minced 2 teaspoons Ginger, minced  1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt 1 Egg 0.7 lbs. Ground Beef* Flour for coating the patties 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil 1 Tablespoon Butter   *The fattier, the juicier, or you're meatloaf!  SAUCE MIXTURE :  2.5 Tablespoons Sugar 3 Tablespoons Sake  4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce 4 Tablespoons Water   GARNISH :   Lettuce, salad greens, or shiso leaves Daikon, grated and drained (optional)    
LET'S GET SAUCY
2.5 Tablespoons Sugar   3 Tablespoons Sake   4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce   4 Tablespoons Water  MIX IN A SMALL BOWL:
SPRINKLE ABOUT A CUP OF FLOUR ON A LARGE PLATE
MEASURE & SOAK 2.5 Tablespoons of Panko Breadcrumbs in  1 Tablespoon of Milk (water or soy milk)
MIX WELL BY HAND: 0.7 lbs. Ground Beef* * The fattier, the juicer. 1/2 Medium Onion, Minced  1 Egg Soaked Panko Breadcrumbs 2 Teaspoons, Minced Ginger 1/2 Teaspoon  Kosher Salt
DIVIDE INTO 4 PATTIES & COAT WITH FLOUR Indent the center of each patty with your thumb
HEAT IN PAN OVER HIGH HEAT: 1 Tablespoon Butter & 1 Tablespoon Oil ADD & BROWN MEAT for roughly 1.5 minutes on each side. Cover and cook over low heat for another 3 - 4 minutes.
DISCARD THE OIL POUR SAUCE MIXTURE INTO PAN AND BRING TO A BOIL
COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES OVER LOW-MEDIUM HEAT AND SCOOP SAUCE OVER MEAT.
GARNISH  With Steamed White Rice or Baby Potatoes (Boiled, Roasted, Nuked)  Make a bed of Lettuce or salad greens Top hamburger with 1 Tablespoon grated Daikon (optional) SERVE  Pour remaining sauce over each hamburger.
