This document provides an overview of several aspects of traditional Japanese culture, including tea ceremony (sado), kabuki theatre, ikebana flower arrangement, furosiki knot tying, and Shintoism religion. It also describes the parts of a kimono and provides some interesting facts about Japanese culture like their respect for honesty, safety, and work ethic.

2. Japan - a country without exaggeration unique. Nanotechnology is
a surprising combination of ancient traditions, some habits are on a
par with the law.

3. Tyado, sado ( "way of tea") - a system of rules of preparation of
green tea and tea in Japan. Began in the 14th century in the
Muromachi period. Developed as a separate art from the second
half of the 17th century. Distribution among different populations
of the 18th century. Known in the Western world as the tea
ceremony.

4. Kabuki ( "song, dance, skill") - a type of traditional Japanese
theatre. Represents the synthesis of singing, music, dance and
drama, the performers use the complex make-up and costumes
with a strong symbolic load. The actors may be only men who
carry both male and female roles.

5. In kabuki, as do some other traditional Japanese theatre, scenery change
occurs sometimes in the middle of the act, the actors continue to play, and the
curtain does not fall. Stagehand dressed in black and are considered
"invisible", now quickly changing surroundings. Important features are
Kabuki "it poses," Mie by which stage actor brings to his character; keso
makeup that adds desired character style, making it easily recognizable even

6. Ikebana - the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. Literally

7. Furosiki ( "bath mat") - the Japanese art of tying knots. In
fact, this square piece of cloth that is used to transport any
objects.

8. Shintoism - the traditional Japanese religion. Religion sintoyizmu
loves the forces of nature, animals and famous people. These
deities in Japanese called "kami".
Unlike Confucianism and Buddhism, Shintoism - a purely national
religion, characteristic only Japanese. Its pantheon there are over 8
million gods (kami), which are also the spirits of the dead, the
spirits of rivers, mountains, lakes and patrons of the arts. This
religion requires its followers to prayer or reading sacred texts. One
has only to participate in temple festivals and ceremonies.

11. Interesting Facts
The Japanese are very respected people who can tell their language at least two
phrases. They think that it is unrealistic to explore.
In Japan, very honest people. If you lose your wallet up 90% probability that it
will pass in the lost and found.
Japanese police - the most honest in the world do not take bribes.
Tokyo - the safest metropolis in the world. Tokyo is so safe that children on their
own six-year use public transport.
