God's apprenticeship scheme aims to help believers grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ through lifelong learning. Jesus aims to prepare his disciples for life in Christ, equip them for service, and build their faith through applied learning rather than just verbal teaching. One example is when Jesus walks on water and rescues Peter from sinking, telling him "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" showing that faith even as small as a mustard seed can accomplish great things. The Holy Spirit now serves as believers' teacher and counselor to remind them of all Jesus said.

This passage from the Bible describes a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and suffered greatly. Despite spending all her money on doctors, her condition only worsened. She heard about Jesus and his ability to heal people. When she touched his cloak in the crowd, her bleeding stopped immediately. Jesus asked who touched him, as he felt power leave him. The woman admitted what she did out of faith that touching him would heal her. Jesus said her faith had healed her and told her to go in peace. The story illustrates that reaching out to Jesus in faith can bring healing, freedom from suffering, peace with God, and rest.
