The Red Anony is a small, 6-inch plant that grows in clusters in the tundra. It has adapted to survive the harsh tundra environment through its short stature, reddish color, and flowers that follow the sun. The tundra receives little precipitation and has a permanently frozen sublayer of soil called permafrost. The Red Anony has a semi-hollow center that stores water and spikes around it to prevent grazing. It goes through life cycles of growth, reproduction, dormancy, and death.
