United States Marine Corps 2000 - 2016
Maintenance Control Manager, Camp Pendleton, CA (3 years)
Personally selected as the Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Alpha, Senior Ordnance Management Advisor
to Afghanistan responsible for managing 45 personnel and $32,000,000 dollars' worth of equipment and
handled daily Manpower reporting utilizing the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), which is
a parallel system to the civilian ADP system used by organizations. .
Assisted in the closure of a major American facility transferred to the Government of Afghanistan after a
decade of support and sustainment and achieved a mission capable readiness rating of 96% during the
Field and Supply Maintenance Office inspection mandated by Headquarters Marine Corps.
Senior Maintenance Manager, Camp Smith, HI (3 years)
Served as the Senior Enlisted Ordnance Maintenance Advisor for both I and III Marine Expeditionary
Forces ensuring Senior Enlisted Service members were attending middle management advance
courses and receiving quality Executive Training.
Managed the internal review of sustainment funding justifications for program budgets worth
$132,000,000 and was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal.
Assisted the Monitor (Human Resource Division, Headquarter Marine Corps) properly placing 1700
entry-level service members within our area of responsibility, to include recruitment and placement of
middle management, creating an efficient and effective enterprise.
Researched, constructed and presented the Program Objective Memorandum budget plans worth
$330,000,000 dollars for fiscal years 2011 to 2013 to the Commanding General.
Assisted in the formulation of the first annual Ground Ordnance Maintenance Award to recognize
outstanding Marines service-wide.
Inspected a non-mission capable Armory and rewrote Battalion Armor Standard Procedures, mentored
and trained 10 Battalion Armorers on the Oracle Marine Global Combat Support System for
calibrations, maintenance, security, supply documentation, inventories and equipment records for
$1,500,000 dollars’ worth of weapons and equipment in order to pass the Headquarters Inspection for
Combat Readiness and was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Successfully conducted Joint Operations involving more than 60 personnel in South Korea with the
Army, Air Force, and Navy as the Tactical Logistics Operations Center Senior Enlisted Advisor.
Maintenance Operations Manager, Camp Lejeune, NC (2 years)
Positioned and monitored over 1,400 service members during day-to-day operations supporting combat
operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Humanitarian Operations in Haiti.
Collaborated with the Personnel Department to ensure the proper placement of 800 new maintenance
personnel, (Onboarding Programs) and directed the efforts of 1,600 personnel from 40 different
military occupations performing maintenance on over 12,000 items of equipment, including the
replacement of 900 items, and maintained a sustained readiness rate of 95% resulting in the award of a
Navy Commendation Medal responsible for Performance Management.
Served as the Approving Officer for the $30,000 non-government purchase program and received
"noteworthy" reviews on 2 annual fiscal audits.
Operations Manager (Platoon Commander), Okinawa, Japan (3 years)
Managed over 60 American service members and 6 foreign national civilian employees performing
more than 163 preventative, 667 corrective and 217 calibration repair orders on 900 pieces of optic
equipment, scheduled 2 modifications on 584 machine guns and managed the maintenance and
storage of 3,247 critical assets and fielded, documented and tracked 6300 new weapon systems worth
over $11,500,000 dollars and was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
Facilitated the completion and installation of new information technology, audiovisual capabilities and
physical security systems in a 12,300 square foot facility, which supported the entire 12,000 personnel
3rd Marine Expeditionary Force and was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
Responsible for Foreign National Civilian employees Employment Law and EEO complaints and rights
were being respected and not violated in accordance with Joint Government Regulations and Policy.
Ordnance Manager (Chief), Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA (6 years)
Converted an underperforming armory with 24 personnel and $3,000,000 dollars’ worth of equipment to
mission capable on a Higher Command Logistic Readiness Evaluation within 2 months of assuming
leadership by implementing a vigorous training program that elevated the skills of 46 service members,
developed a comprehensive maintenance report that captured all maintenance related costs to the
organization, maintained an average readiness of 95.99% for 3000 weapons during garrison duty and a
100% readiness rating during 3 combat tours and was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal.
Maintained $3,900,000 dollars’ worth of Target Range weapons and equipment in support of 1,200
personnel who trained 17,000 recruits in marksmanship and was awarded a Navy Unit Commendation.
Coordinated with other branches of the service overseas to conduct maintenance operations for over
300 service members, and procured over $7000 dollars’ worth of critical items at no cost to the unit

Facilitated the completion and installation of new information technology, audiovisual capabilities and physical security systems in a 12,300 square foot facility, which supported the entire 12,000 personnel 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force and was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. Responsible for Foreign National Civilian employees Employment Law and EEO complaints and rights were being respected and not violated in accordance with Joint Government Regulations and Policy. Ordnance Manager (Chief), Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA (6 years) Converted an underperforming armory with 24 personnel and $3,000,000 dollars’ worth of equipment to mission capable on a Higher Command Logistic Readiness Evaluation within 2 months of assuming leadership by implementing a vigorous training program that elevated the skills of 46 service members, developed a comprehensive maintenance report that captured all maintenance related costs to the organization, maintained an average readiness of 95.99% for 3000 weapons during garrison duty and a 100% readiness rating during 3 combat tours and was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal. Maintained $3,900,000 dollars’ worth of Target Range weapons and equipment in support of 1,200 personnel who trained 17,000 recruits in marksmanship and was awarded a Navy Unit Commendation.
