• Compared information presented on Evidence of Property and Certificate of Insurance to
ensure that they met requirements of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and showed the specific
coverages/limits/deductibles that were required for a loan closing.
• Client bank financed loans to large habitational building owners backed by Fannie Mae or
Freddie Mac. For the loan closing, these entities had very specific requirements for the
Evidence of Property Insurance and Certificate of Insurance documents.
• The challenge was getting the retail agent to use the required EPI and COI forms along with
getting them to provide the required information, especially on the EPI form. All of the closing
documents were e-mailed to the loan closing.
