Unit 57 discusses various photographic terminology including:
- Shutter speed which controls the brightness and movement in images.
- ISO which changes the light sensitivity of the image sensor.
- Aperture and depth of field (F stop) which determine the distance of sharp focus in an image.
- Automatic and manual exposure settings which control how light or dark an image appears.
- Colour balance, composition, rule of thirds, complementary colours, analogous colours, and macro which are techniques for improving composition, emphasis, and visual appeal in photographs.

Time's Up! Getting Value from Big Data NowEric Kavanagh
The Briefing Room with Dr. Robin Bloor and CASK
We all know the promise of big data, but who gets the value? There are plenty of success stories already, and most of them involve one key ingredient: facilitated access to important data sets. Most research studies suggest that the Pareto principle applies: 80 percent goes to data integration, and only 20 to analysis. Inverting that balance is the Holy Grail.
Register for this episode of The Briefing Room to hear veteran Analyst Dr. Robin Bloor explain why the time has finally come for turning the tables on the status quo in analytics. He'll be briefed by CASK CEO Jonathan Gray, who will showcase his company's big data integration platform, CDAP, which was specifically designed to expedite time-to-value for big data.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Jameel terminology
1. Unit 57: Photography and Photographic Practice Terminology (P1, P2, M1, M2)
Term Explanation of term e.g. what it Examples
is used for / the effect it has on
your images
Shutter Speed Shutter speed is where for example
you’re driving a car at nigh an it is that
bright light that follows the car. The
technique is useful for to make the
image more bright and colourful and
in audience point of view this will
attract an attention. The effect of on
this image that shutter speed gives is
it changes the way the movement
appears in the picture.
ISO ISO is used to change the light ad
affection of the image inside the
camera and that will change the
sensitivity light of the image sensor
inside of it. The effect I has on the
image is I makes it sensitive in lightning
wise.
Aperture & Depth of DOF or in other words depth of fields is
field (F stop) basically the distance between the
nearest farthest object that appears I
the picture. When you’re using a
camera you know that he lens will
focus precisely only at one distance at
a time, the sharpness lowers on both
sides of the distance focus so
therefore within the depth of field
2. (DOF) the unsharpness is
imperceptible under normal viewing
condition
Automatic Exposure Automatic Exposure is basically in the
camera settings and you can set it up.
The effect it has on the image it makes
the image more exposed so it is being
focused on the main image which is
the duck and how it does hat it also
blurs the background as you can tell if
you look at the image.
Manual Exposure Manual exposure is also in the camera
settings so all you o s switch it on and
you will end up with that effect.
Within manual exposure mode you
will be able to set aperture and
shutter speed mode and then you will
end up having control over the
exposure system.
3. Colour Balance Basically colour balance you know
what it is when you see the name of
the title all it is when you changed the
balance of the colour in the image
from the original colour. The effect I
has on the image is it makes it more
attractive and colourful than it
originally was.
Composition The meaning of composition in the
photographic term is depth of field it is
the same it just makes the image
wider and bigger in the best view. The
effect it has on the image is it makes it
a whole lot attractive because there is
a bigger and better view and people
who look at images are interested in
wide shots.
Rule of thirds The rule of thirds is a graph in the
camera where you are taking a
picture it gets the left middle and right
of the screen on point so you get the
best picture possible. The effect it has
on the image is it makes it larger.
4. Complementary Complementary colours are pair of
Colours colours that are opposite in colour
models the main colours are white
and grey and black so what it does is
mix the colours together. The effect it
has on the image it makes the
background dark so the foreground
can stand out more so it basically
shades the background.
Analogous colours Analogous Colours is basically a group
of bright colours. Most often use with
warm and cool colours so it can give
that colourful harmony. Then it will
make that colourful bright looking
image examples of Analogous colours
are the bright ones such as red
orange yellow green blue violet etc.
5. Macro Macro Is just the same meaning of
close up so it is a shot taking closely
zooming on the main part of the
image. It has a big effect on the
image because it gives it that
professional feeling. Photographers
mostly use this technique when taking
pictures of something small such as an
incest or flower etc.
