The Model Of Health Care
Scenario One
Q1. Which model of health would be the most suitable for you to use and why?
The practice of health care can be divided into two models in which a health professional may
approach their patient. This includes the medical model, where the patient is only viewed as a
syndrome, or the host of a disease, or the biopsychosocial model (BPS), which was developed by
George L. Engel in 1977.1 The BPS model appreciates the person as a whole, having
psychological and socio economic impacts on their health and adherence, as well as the ailment
they may or may not be suffering from at any point in time.1 In the case of LH, where it is clear
her health and wellbeing is being affected by her lifestyle, it would be more appropriate to
approach the situation with the empathetic biopsychosocial model. The health professional is then
able to understand LH s health and wellbeing by linking it to her social setting, namely her stress
relatedly to her role as a single mother unstable living conditions. They can also appreciate her
unwillingness to quit smoking if they connect it to the stress in her life. Understanding how LH s
unemployment, homelessness and parenthood affects her ability to adopt good health care, can
assist health professionals in developing an individualised health care plan for LH.
Q2. Identify some of the barriers to medication adherence for this patient?
Using the BPS model, the barriers to medication adherence can be predicted. A significant factor to

The Secret Sharer Assignment
In The Secret Sharer by Joseph Conrad, we as readers are introduced to the captain and a former
first mate of another ship who has been arrested for murder of another crew member, whose
name is Legatt. We learn of the captain s elaborate plan to hide Legatt to avoid his capture. First,
he takes Legatt, the arrested first mate, under his wing and instead of arresting him, like he
should, he tells him to hide in his quarters, and throughout the tale, we see Legatt nearly being
captured multiple times, such as when the captain is asked where his coat is, and one of his
crewmen reply that it was in his quarters in the bathroom, to which the captain suddenly goes into
a cold sweat, worrying he might be found out if Legatt is seen. Legatt and the captain appear as
doubles because the captain, feeling sorry for Legatt, decides to give him clothing of his to wear for

Walking to the taffrail, I was in time to make out, on the very edge of a darkness thrown by a
towering black mass like the very gateway of Erebus yes, I was in time to catch an evanescent

thoughts, as though he were my second self, had lowered himself into the water to take his
punishment: a free man, a proud swimmer striking out for a new destiny. (Conrad 193)
What does this mean?: In short, the captain remembers the person who was in his cabin, Legatt,
and since he was a former first mate, he is similar to the captain. The last line signifies that Legatt
has moved on to a new life. Throughout the story, we see the captain refer to Legatt as his second
self, or double, but I think that the reason that he calls him double is because he s looking at

Caryl Churchill s play Far Away and Jane Taylor s Ubu and the Truth Commission
Caryl Churchill s play Far Away and Jane Taylor s Ubu and the Truth Commission are two plays that
both concern violent, corrupt political systems, but each playwright goes about confronting these
issues in a quite different style. Jane Taylor structures her work with an omniscient perspective that
allows the audience to see the reality of what is happening at all times, while Churchill utilizes a
limited perspective that leaves the audience as unaware of the truth as her characters. These
approaches result in two plays that are very different in character, but at the same time, both of the
works successfully create a similar uneasy, frightening atmosphere ... Show more content on

Though one of the most prominent themes of Far Away is also truth, the audience views the action
of the play from a completely different perspective than in Ubu. From the beginning of the play to
the end, we sense that something is wrong, that something malicious is being covered up, but we
are never fully aware of what that is. We may let our imaginations wander, but in the end we can
never know exactly what the government is doing. Churchill purposely puts us in this position by
showing us fragments of the lives of the characters. These fragments may be important moments,
but they are nonetheless incomplete. Also, they are immersed in the world that characters live in;
in other words, we see everything from the characters points of view. Therefore we see not the
actual truth of the situation but only what Joan, Harper, and Todd believe, and their beliefs are
skewed by the oppressive and deceptive nature of the government as well as by their own self
deceptions.
One manner in which both playwrights explore the theme of truth is through the compliance of the
populations (or parts of the populations) with the existing regimes. In Ubu and the Truth
Commission, this aspect

Essay on Organizational Culture Found Within Army Doctrine
There are several definitions and applications for organizational culture found within Army
doctrine. Through synthesis of L100 readings, organizational culture is a set of institutional norms
shared by its people who create a distinctive environment to observe, analyze, and act. Like
organizational culture, L100 provides much source material, both literally and figuratively.
Commander s actions and examples model organizational climate which influence localized
standards of conduct for his or her subordinates which can directly correlate to the health and
sustainability of a unit. The similarities between organizational culture and organizational climate

Even though the current set of Army Values is just now entering its third decade they do well to

According to FM 3 0, situational awareness is, immediate knowledge of the conditions of the

applying analysis and judgment to relevant information to determine the relationships among the

Erik Erikson s Stages Of Psychosocial Development
Current Developmental Stage: According to Erik Erikson s stages of psychosocial development,
Neveah is in middle adolescence, which is focused on the conflict of identity verses role confusion
(Ashford LeCroy, 2010). The developmental characteristics of middle adolescents include sexual
identity, role experimentation, moral development, and self discovery (Ashford LeCroy, 2010).
Adolescents are evaluating how they fit into society and more specifically their social sphere.
During this time, friends, social groups, and cultural trends greatly impact the adolescent.
According to Gibbs (2015), at this stage in development it is critical to be valued and accepted by a
peer group. To evaluate Neveah s stage of development, her ethnicity, immigration, and history of
childhood abuse must be taken into consideration. According to Ashford and LeCroy (2010),
adolescent immigrants face the unique challenge of fulfilling their sense of belonging, while facing
issues of acculturation and minority status. As they seek to develop their own identity, they must
combine the norms, values, and culture of their minority status and the dominant Caucasian culture
(Ashford LeCroy, 2010). Adolescent immigrants face more discrimination as well as are hyper
cognizant of their differences in appearance and language (Ashford LeCroy, 2010). According to
Chicchetti and Toth (1995), child maltreatment effects the development of attachment and affect
regulation. They further state that studies

The Definition of Organic Foods Should Be Redefined Essay
Organic versus non organic foods are always being debated to whether they are worth the extra
cost. This seems to be an easy question, at first, but begs a more in depth analysis to come to a
conclusion. Organic definitions can vary by government, company and even individuals. Many
people have their own ideas of what organic means. My personal definition, before this research
assignment, was that organic products were grown with no pesticides, chemical additives, or
preservatives and grown in a humane way. Meaning that if it said 100% organic, that is what was
meant. This however, is not the case when it comes to the government s definition of organic,
according to T. A. Niewold who wrote, Organic More Healthy; Green Shoots in a... Show more

If these claims prove to be true, as some research suggests, then this may be well worth the cost
if one can afford them. In the case of the meat we eat, how do we know that it is truly organic
(hence the necessity for a more strict definition), and why do we even need it to be? There are
several reasons for us to eat organic meat, depending on what the definition ultimately ends up
being. One reason to eat organic meat is the fact of the spread of Bovine spongiform
encephalopathy or what is more commonly known as Mad Cow Disease. There is a human
form of this disease called New Variant Creutzfeldt Jakob disease (NCJD). This disease was first
brought to light in the 1990 s in Europe by the discovery of link between these two diseases
(Freudenrich, 3). If one had lived in Europe in the early 90 s, for at least six months, (as my
family and I did) they may have been exposed to this disease. In the past, cows (who are naturally
herbivores) were fed remnants of dead and dying sheep. Sheep that possibly had the disease
called, Scrapie which is similar to BSE, and could explain the reason for the infection to have
started in cows, eventually jumping to humans (Freudenrich, 6). The theory of how this disease
came about varies, but one of the most prevalent relates to a protein called a prion . These prions

Importance Of College Internship
One of the requirements of Ferris State University to graduate with Bachelor degree in Criminal
Justice is all students must complete an internship. I decided to complete my internship at the 17th
Circuit Court Family Division located at 1565 Cedar St. My supervisor s name is Jeff Hekman. I
have worked with other six interns from Ferris State University, Grand Rapids Community College,
and Grand Valley University. We all shared a passion for justice and to help others in our
community by mentoring, advising, and guiding in the right direction. This program is for
juveniles that are serving their sentences on probation where community serviceis a part of the
verdict.
Internships provide many benefits to college students. They offer them a chance to learn about a
career field from the inside and to gain self confidence. Also, students can learn new things, meet
new people, and practice communication, networking, and teamwork skills. These are great
additions to the resume when applying for a job. By working hard at an internship, they can
demonstrate to potential employers and references that they have initiative and are responsible.
Another advantage of completing a college internship is to test a career objective while in the real
world. Students can develop good professional work habits and to become acquainted with people
employed in professional occupations. An internship can also enhance the self confidence as
students learn self reliance and independence and develop

Recruitment And Selection Process Essay
As the business world is ever changing, so is the process that companies use in selecting ideal
candidates. The most common way for companies to start the process of filling an open position,
is to create a job posting. Job postings are most commonly posted on popular online job
websites, such as Glassdoor or Indeed. Many of the companies will also use software that will
sift through the thousands of resumes received and select a group of candidates that it feels are
ideal for the position. The company will then proceed to interview those candidates. With
software that selects resumes based on keywords that are specific to the job, it only makes sense
for candidates to tailor their resumes to maximize the opportunity to achieve that initial
interview. By creating a variety of resumes and cover letters tailored to specific position
openings, one increases his or her opportunity to receive an initial interview and getting hired.
Developed and developing economies have caused a shift in the scope of business. As the world
as a whole progress , jobs have become more demanding. In our knowledge based economy, value
is the product of knowledge and information. Companies cannot generate profits without the ideas,
skills, and talent of knowledge workers, and they have to bet on people not technologies, not
factories, and certainly not capital (Martin Moldoveanu, 2003, pg. 36). More demanding job
requirements have caused companies to only hire the best. Workers now require more

Civil War And The Black Suffrage
Post Civil War, Northern women became increasingly active in the Black suffrage movements in
the North. They strategized that by enforcing the right of suffrage for African Americans they
would automatically receive the right to vote. Their calculations were based off of the hierarchal
rules implied by the Jim Crow South. During the Jim Crow Era, segregationists feared that
reconstruction would mess with the inherent order of their society by making Black men equal to
White men and beneath them allowing Black women to be equal to White women. Their
restoration period stressed that the gender/racial hierarchy be preserved as follows: White men,
White women, Black men, and then Black women. The Northern women assumed that there was no
way they would give Black men the right to vote without giving White women the right to vote
first, since they were higher up on Jim Crow s hierarchy. However, their initial plan was unfeasible
due to mutual disagreement amongst men in regards to women s suffrage. Even the radical men
believed that supporting women s suffrage was pushing things too far and risked the nullification of
the fourteenth amendment. Regardless of, they pushed for its ratification.
In 1873 Suzan B. Anthony led the women to go up to the polls to cast votes as a form of protest.
Their plan was to go to the polls, get turned away, then sue on behalf of the fourteenth amendment
which equally protected them. To their dismay, Anthony was not turned away but instead was

Lone Survivor Movie Ethical Dilemma
Ethical Dilemma on the Battlefield: Analysis of Lone Survivor Scene Military personnel operating
in combat missions must maintain mental and situational awareness of their area of operations.
This includes a complete understanding of their physical and doctrinal training. Besides
accomplishing their mission, soldiers must also consider the rules of engagement and the personal
and professional ethics, values and morals that factor into their decisions in high stress
environments (Allen, 2013). Well planned missions will never be executed perfectly. Due to
human nature, soldiers may be faced with an ethical dilemma. Ethical dilemma comprises an
individual selecting the most effective course of action, identifying the different courses presented
and realization that any one principle will be conceded (Allen, 2013). In the movie, Lone
Survivor, 4 Navy Seals were conducting recon for a high target value mission in Afghanistan to
take out a Taliban leader. During their mission, they encountered two boys and an older man who
were herding sheep. To not compromise the mission, the civilians were detained. The language
barrier and stress of this unexpected event opened the door for the major ethical dilemma posed in
the film. The seals were unsure of the affiliations of these civilians to the Taliban, the consequences
to their mission or the treat to their lives. This pivotal scene showcases the conversation between
the seals evaluating the multiple courses of action. At which,

Christian Teaching and Discussion About Euthanasia Essay
Christian Teaching and Discussion About Euthanasia
The word euthanasia comes from two Greek words eu meaning good and thanatos meaning death.
Literally it means a good death .
Euthanasia is arranging for someone who has an incurable terminal illness to die as quickly and as
painlessly as possible. It is the act of purposely aiding someone to die, instead of letting nature take
its course. There are four main types of euthanasia these are: Voluntary, Involuntary, Active and
Passive.
Euthanasia is currently illegal in the UK, but is legal in the Netherlands and the state of Oregon
however; it is still a widely discussed topic, which raises many moral questions. In this essay I will

Also the Roman Catholic Church opposes euthanasia because of the strongly taught commandment:
Thou shall not kill. To add to that: the Roman Catholic Churchregards the sanctity of life as an
extremely important teaching and places the highest value on human life and suffering and pain do
not stop life being valuable and is not a reason for ending life, therefore the Church believes that
people should leave the dying process to God, not to humans who by allowing euthanasia are, for
Roman Catholics, devaluing human life and making it seem disposable. Instead people should die
with dignity and let them be loved unconditionally by God until the end of earthly life. Therefore
Roman Catholics oppose euthanasia, this is an absolute view.
The Church of England s report in 1975 on dying well and the Methodist Church s statement in
1974 both oppose euthanasia. They emphasise the fact that human life is sacred.
However Christian views today vary with most Christians not accepting euthanasia.
A Christian teaching that can be used for euthanasia is the sanctity of life. Christians believe that
all life is given as a gift from God:
God made man in his own image, male and female he created them. Gen
Therefore because God gave life, it is a gift and it is valuable because humans are made in God s
image:
God made man in his own image. Gen.

Civilization Vs. Savagery In The Lord Of The Flies
Civilization versus Savagery
The Lord of the Flies is a classic novel written by William Golding in the year of 1954. The novel
tells the tale of a group of schoolboys who are miraculously marooned on a desert island after their
plane crashes. At first the boys attempt to govern themselves and to keep a grasp on civilization and
order; In the beginning the island was very much like their home, but eventually this ideology fades
into savagery and brutality. The boys resort to theft, torture and even murder. Although The Lord of
the Flies depicts many themes and morals, the underlying theme is the battle between the human
impulse towards civilization and savagery. This theme is brilliantly and respectively portrayed by
battle of the two characters; Jack and Ralph.
In the beginning there was only the main protagonist Ralph and Piggy, they soon realise that
there is a possibility that there may be other survivors and decide to call the others using a conch
shell that Ralph and Piggy had found earlier, Ralph had stopped smiling and was pointing into
the lagoon. Something creamy lay among the ferny weeds. [p8] The conch is blown by Ralph (
We can use this to call the others [p9]) Children start to emerge from the bushes including a choir
lead by a ginger boy named Jack. Note that they only emerged from hearing the sound of the shell,
there were no other instructions, this immediately makes the conch a symbol of law and order.

Race Relations Between African Americans and Whites...
Following what was arguably the most turbulent time in American history; Reconstruction had far
reaching effects on a number of areas of life in the United States. In the Deep South, one of the
clearest impacts could be seen on racial relations, specifically between whites and newly freed
African Americans. Legally, dramatic changes had been made at the federal level, providing
African Americans with a host of rights that had never been offered them before. It was no wonder,
then, that former slave owners in the South rejected these changes and rights, taking whatever steps
necessary to keep African Americans down. The dramatic changes that took place in terms of race

Legally, the passage of the Fifteenth Amendment just a few years after the close of the Civil War,
African American men had the right to vote according to the United States Constitution. However,
racial relations in the south had deteriorated so greatly that even such constitutionally protected
elements of their lives were unable to survive. Whites passed a number of laws designed to
disenfranchise African American men, knowing that without the right to vote, the voices of newly
freed slaves would not be heard. These laws included such measures as literacy tests, poll taxes,
property qualifications, and so called grandfather clauses that denied an individual the right to vote
if their grandfather did not vote himself. Race relations in the south had deteriorated so rapidly that
even something as basic as voting, something that was to be provided to African American men
according to the United States Constitution, was denied them ( The state... , 2011). As individuals
living in the north became increasingly disinterested with the plight of African Americans in the
south, a political change was made, one that would alter the racial relations between whites and
blacks for generations. In 1896, the United States Supreme Court issued a ruling in Plessy v.
Ferguson that would set the stage for continued segregation in the American south with three simple
words: separate but equal. When the Supreme Court ruled that separate facilities for whites and

Systemic Racism in the Criminal Justice System
Systemic Racism is a system of inequality based on race. This has been relevant in our country not
only since slavery but even in today s standards. Another way to word systemic racism is systemic
privilege, or white privilege . The concept of privilege refers to any advantage or ease of living
that is unearned, exclusive, and socially bestowed. For instance, white people are generally assumed
to be law abiding citizens until they show signs that they aren t. While people of color are
predominantly assumed to be criminals or potential criminals until they show that they are not. To

This suggests that Ascriptive Americanism plays a big part in this issue, since white privilege is
basically a stratification system where people are placed in positions based on qualities beyond
their control such as, skin color, race, gender, etc. Albeit systemic racism is performed relevantly in
our society, it shines the most in our criminal justice system.
In 2009, a survey showed that blacks were arrested for drug possession more than three times as
often as whites, and a survey made in 2011 showed that whites have abused drugs more than
blacks (The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive). Yet, according to the Bureau of
Justice Statistics, one out of every 3 black males can expect to go to prison in their lifetime, and
225,000 of the people who were serving time in state prisons for drug offenses in 2011, blacks
made up 45 percent while whites comprised of just 30 percent. One must question, why is there a
disproportionate number of African Americans in the criminal justice system? Well, the majority of
Americans are unaware of this mass incarceration and outright racism in the criminal justice
system. When we think of racism, we think of the 1930 s 60 s, slavery, and Jim Crow which come
to mind, but what

Archetype Of Anti Hero
Is an anti hero really a bad guy or is the hero or heroine really a good guy but doing good deeds
his or her way? Anti heroes sometimes do good deeds because they are heroes right? Some of
them are true heroes while others have a more destructive or violent ways to get the job done, no
matter what kind of damage they have done to the community which makes them more of a villain.
They are mostly heroes with a more violent way to get things done, but some of them are more
villainous then the other. The anti hero is a common characterarchetype for the antagonist that has
been around since the comedies and tragedies of Greek theater. Unlike the traditional hero who is
morally upright and steadfast, the anti hero usually has a flawed moral character.

Through including the religion into the government it meant all state decisions were to be made
based on the Buddhist teachings. This encouraged the religion to remain relevant and also meant
more people were including their faith in their daily decisions. Through this system of government
it also meant that the three Jewels of Buddhism could be included in daily life and the decisions for
the state were made with the best intentions and followed the principles of Buddhism.
The Dalai Lama has also challenged adherents to accept the fate that is given to them and make
the greatest use of their reincarnated form. As a young child he was unable to reject the position

What Is The Dream In The American Dream
The Dream in Of Mice and Men Of Mice and Men is a novel written by John Steinbeck. The
book tells a story of how two opposite individuals, George and Lennie cope with their problems
as they travel around California in search of ranch work. Throughout the story Steinbeck
displays realism. This category of literature is where the author does not sugar coat life.
Steinbeck does not romanticize the natural world or human nature (Curry). In doing so in this
type of reality many people have a dream . To give an example, Lennie and George had a dream
of owning a shack on a piece of land. Each time these two individuals thought of the dream it

In the novel Steinbeck displays the harsh reality of life. He displays/writes life as it was during
the depression, the time in which the novel took place in. An example of a character s dream not
being achieved is Curley s wife. As said before her dream was to become a movie star. However,
her dream was not achieved because supposedly her mother destroyed the letter sent to her by a
movie producer. ... he was gonna write to me about it... I never got the letter... I always thought
my ol lady stole it, (Steinbeck 88). Nevertheless, us as readers can assume she was catfished or
lied to. Curley s wife never got or received the letter because she was not meant to be an actor. In
doing so, Curley s wife s dream was never achieved even though she believed she could achieve
it. Before Curley s wife was happy when she believed in her dream but after her dream died her
life was meaningfulness. That is why she decided to marry Curly because that was her only way
to survive during the depression. This is an example of the natural world of human nature. Another
example of where The Dream is not achieved is Lennie and George s. As mentioned before Lennie
and George have the American Dream to own a piece of land. They try or attempt to save money
by working on ranches. No matter how hard these two worked they could not achieve the dream

The Advantages Of Traditional Education Vs. Online Education
There are a lot of reasons why Traditional education is better. It isn t because it is what we are
accustomed to but due to its promising benefits already shown that is offered to everyone. The
chances of improvement in learning at this system would still likely happen because similarly to
online education, it updates as well with the media it uses therefore it is ahead online no matter
what.
Since traditional education means attending face to face classes held at schools, we need to head
there physically. One of the things that make it great is because it promotes our physical needs

The Relationship Connecting the Sociology of Religion and...
Berger provides insight into the study of the sociology of religion. Berger is particularly interested
in the social construction of religion as perpetuated by humankind and the dichotomies of the
secular and the religious. As a component of social reality, religion, according to Peter Berger, is a
dialectical phenomenon (3). Society is a dialectic phenomenon in that it is a humanproduct, and
nothing but a human product, that yet continuously acts back upon its producer. Society is a
product of man. Religionemerges out of human beings as part of an ordered and meaningful social
reality and in turn, humans emerge out of this socially constructed world. Berger parses the
dialectical phenomenon into three concepts: externalization,... Show more content on

The ordered structure of culture becomes the ordered structure of individual human consciousness.
The languages, values, meanings, and institutions of society become the languages, values,
meanings, and institutions of the individual person. Through internalization, humans become a
product of society. By the ordering of experience, humanity imposes nomos, or meaningful order,
upon the social world by both objective by institutions and subjective by consciousness
constructs. When this nomos is instinctually assumed either cosmologically or anthropologically
it is endowed with a stability deriving from more powerful sources that the historical efforts of
human beings (25). Humans have a need for and impose nomos on their existence or reality.
Without nomos people would perceive reality to be anomic; it would lack order and meaning; it
would be utter chaos. A central function of religion is to protect the individual from anomy;
religion makes reality ordered and understandable. Here religion enters the social world as a
human enterprise by which a sacred world is established. He begins by examining the role of
religion in the construction of the social world. Berger

Exchanges with Industry Before Receipt of Proposals (4-4)
Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals (4 4) Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition
Regulations (FAR) prescribes [the] policies and procedures governing competitive and
noncompetitive negotiated acquisitions. One component of negotiated acquisitions that occurs
early in the acquisition process is the solicitation of proposals. FAR 15.201, titled, Exchanges with
Industry before Receipt of Proposals, regulates the type and manner of communications, also
sometimes referred to as exchanges, which can and cannot take place between the Government and

This fact is stated plainly and directly even in the FAR itself, where it is written, Agencies are
encouraged to promote early exchange of information about future acquisitions. Exchanges are
beneficial to all parties involved in the acquisition process, and there are a number of reasons why
such exchanges are beneficial. As the regulations explain at FAR 15.201(b), some of these benefits
include an improved understanding of the Government s requirements for the potential suppliers,
and also an improved understanding of a potential supplier s capabilities by the Government.
Additionally, exchanges between Government and potential suppliers can help the Government
firm up or finalize their acquisition plan and source selection strategy for a particular procurement
by enabling them to determine things such as, proposed contract type, terms and conditions, and
acquisition planning schedules, as well as, the feasibility of the requirement, including performance
requirements, statements of work, and data requirements.
I. TYPES OF EXCHANGES The FAR lists a number of ways in which exchanges between
Government and Industry might occur prior to the issuance of a contract award. Examples of these
types of exchanges include, Pre Solicitation Conferences and Industry Days; Pre Proposal
Conferences; and One on One Meetings with Potential Offerors. A. Pre Solicitation Conference

Pliny s The Alexander Mosaic
The Alexander Mosaic is a Roman floor mosaic that dates from c. 100 B.C. It is discovered in
the city of Pompeii which was preserved in ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. It was found
in the House of Faun, named after the bronze statue of a faun found there. It is thought to be
possibly based on a wall painting done in 315 B.C.E., Hellenistic Period by a Greek artist named
Philoxenos of Eretria because it matches a description of the painting written by Pliny.
The mosaic is approximately 2.72 by 5.13 meters (8 feet 11 inches high and 16 feet and 10
inches) long. It is currently housed in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples, Italy. It
consisted of over one and a half million tesserae (From the Greek word tesseres which means
square .), or small pieces of colored stone and glass, none larger than 4 mm, in four colors: white,
yellow, red, and black. Several of the colors seen in the mosaic are the natural color of the marble
pieces. The minuteness of the tesserae enables noticeably quality detail and painterly outcomes,
including noteworthy pics of Alexander and Darius.

Benefits Of Measure Service Quality
Incheon and Hong Kong two of the best ranked airports in the world
Airports are similar to cities in a variety of aspects where to happen many activities such as take
off, landings of aircraft, movement of people and freight. It is important to highlight that
passengers are the essence of the airports operations considering that the primary purpose of the
commercial aviation is to transport customers from one point to another point in a period of time.
In over the past years airports focused only in the departure and arrival of passengers but in the
current years, airports focus their goals beyond transportation of travellers with the purpose to
satisfy their needs. Thus, airports offer a range of services to attract the attention of different type
of customers worldwide. The aim of this essay is to analyse and understand the benefits of measure
service quality due to the high competitiveness of the airport industry, taking as examples two of
the best airports in the world for passengers. The two airports selected are Incheon International
Airport and Hong Kong International Airport that are located in Asia, one of the markets with
more demand of customers these days and in the coming years by International Air Transport
Association (2015). In the direction to enrich the performance of the organisations the need to
measure service quality arises, since it is vital to determine how well an airport is performing

The Effectiveness of Octavian in Enlisting Senatorial...
The Effectiveness of Octavian in Enlisting Senatorial Support for his New Administration in the
Period 30 to 19 BC.
Octavian was the son of Gaius Octavius, a senator, but was the adopted son of Julius Caesar.
Essentially Octavian, or Augustus as he became known as in 27BC, was a conservative republican.
This is shown by Res Gestae Divi Augusti (literally the achievements of the Divine August )
paragraph 8: I brought back into use many exemplary practises of our ancestors which were
disappearing in our time. And also by Suetonius The Twelve Caesars, Augustus, chapter 93:
Augustus showed great respect to all ancient and long established foreign rites. The Republican
system was based on a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However Octavian did not realise this at first and he illegally created himself consul: At the age of
19 he created himself consul, marched on Romeas if it were an enemy city ... to demand that the
appointment [of consul] should be confirmed. When the Senate hesitated to obey ... a centurion ...
displayed the hilt of his sword and boldly said If you do not make him consul, this will! (Suetonius
26). But how were these aims to fit into the fact that Octavian wanted to remain in power, and not
be too obvious about this fact?
Following the death of Julius Caesar, on the 27th of November in 43BC Titius, a tribune passed the
lex titia in the tribunal assembly. This was a law appointing Anthony, Lepidus and Octavian
triumvirs for 5 years, but this time could be lengthened. This was the technique of a populares,
rather than being passed by the Senate and being Optimates. The Triumvirs were clever in the fact
that they did not advertise the unconstitutional position of dictator. The leader of the three men to
rule was Antony a leading Caesarean and so therefore a populares. The constitutional position stood
against the ideals of the Roman Republic and therefore brought an end to the Roman Republic. This
was unacceptable from the point of view of a conservative republican senator. They immediately set

Ozymandias Figurative Language Essay
Poetry of any era furthers our understanding of the current world. This is because many of the
issues we once faced, we still face today. In this short essay I will compare and contrast figurative
language in two poems. The first of which will be Ozymandias by Percy Shelley written in 1818;
and the second of which, will be Ode to a Nightingale by John Keats written a year later in 1819.
Ode to a Nightingale explores the themes of mortality and impermanence. In Shelley s work,
Ozymandias examines the themes of power and mortality. The first thing I have noticed is that both
have a strong focus ancient civilizations and a distinct focal point on the ancient Greeks and
Romans.
In Greek myth, a young woman named Philomela, whose tongue was cut out by her rapist to

He alludes to the Lethe, the Greek underworld river of immortality in his first stanza. I believe
the speaker says this because he believes the wine speaks about has mystical powers that will
allow him to live forever. He does not mean this literally of course, but instead it will bring him
into the care free state of the nightingale. Through its imagery, the speakers want (need?) is
conveyed for a drug/drink induced state. It seems as though the speaker wants this so that he can
feel some sort of connection with the Nightingale and nature. The speaker s mood changes and in
the fourth stanza he does not want to turn back to drinking and instead wants to fly on the, wings of
poesy (33). Meaning that he has found his salvation in poetry rather than drink. The speaker s
awareness of the real world pulls him back from his fantasy world of drink joy. He understands that
he cannot become the nightingale as the human world is not withdrawable and mortality is
inescapable. At the same time the poem Ozymandias also uses imagery to convey its

not the central theme of the book. The topic that does reoccur and therefore proposes itself as
the central principle, however, is the idea associated behind the process of healing from pain. In
the book, both Frederic Henry and Catherine Barkley had to fight against pain during the times
when Barkley loses her first lover, when Henry suffers from the trench mortar trauma, and when
Henry bids farewell to the dying Barkley. In the opening pages of the book, Hemingway did a
fantastic job in highlighting Barkley s grief for her lost lover. Notably, Barkley had never met
Henry before, but with his mention of the stick which belonged to her fiance, she instinctively
talked with anguish. He was a very nice boy. He was going to marry me and he was killed in the
Somme... He could have had anything he wanted if I would have known (Hemingway 18 19).
Even so, the next night she would allow Henry to give her a kiss. Oh, darling, she said. You will
be good to me, won t you? (Hemingway 27). To many this would have appeared to be a romantic
scene, but in reality, however, Barkley s mind is elsewhere;

The Patriot Movie Historical Accuracy
The Patriot The movie, The Patriot, was released in the year 2000. It is a drama/action film that
relates to the American Revolutionary War. Although the plot of the movie is fictional there are
many aspects that relate to what happened in the war, but some have discrepancies. The Patriot is
the story of a South Carolina plantation owner, Benjamin Martin, who is played by Mel Gibson.
It is more a story of a family during the war then the war itself. When all of the men from
Charleston gathered to the town meeting to discuss whether they should join the war effort and
separate with England or not, Martin speaks of taxation without representation, which in fact was a
major factor in the war. To me, this proves that the movie tried to be as factual to history as
possible. Originally, Martin... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

This news may come as a shock with another Father s Day upon us, but it s just some of what
Louise Silverstein and Carl Auerbach concluded in a jaw dropping study on fathers and fatherhood
aptly titled Deconstructing the Essential Father. Published in American Psychologist, a journal of
the American Psychological Association, the study s radical conclusions further undermine what

children. Still sending shockwaves through public policy circles more than a year after its initial
publication, the study is just one of countless indicators that Dad is an endangered species.
Dangerous Dads? Chipping away at some of our most basic conceptions of parenting, the APA study
declares that fathers are not essential to child well being; the institution of marriage does not serve
the broader interests of society; divorce is not necessarily harmful to children; fathers contribute
nothing special to child development; and the traditional family unit headed by a mother and father
is not any better at protecting children than anything else. In other

But towards the end of it he is then referred to as a man. Throughout the song a transformation
has happened to the boy where he has metaphorically committed suicide and in return become

evil life he was living and become a good person. The Catholic Church believes that: 1755 A
morally good act requires the goodness of the object, of the end, and of the circumstances
together. An evil end corrupts the action, even if the object is good in itself (such as praying and
fasting in order to be seen by men ). The object of the choice can by itself vitiate an act in its
entirety. There are some concrete acts such as fornication that it is always wrong to choose,
because choosing them entails a disorder of the will, that is, a moral evil. The Catholic Church
believes that for someone to be considered good they must be a good person that demonstrates a
good behaviour, good thoughts and good morals. For someone to be classified as evil they can be
a good person demonstrating evil thoughts, evil acts and evil morals or an evil person

IDEA Individuals With Disabilities Education Act Essay
In 1991 the Public Law 94 142, the Education for All Handicapped Children Act was replaced by
the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. This law was passed to provide free and
appropriate public education to every child with a disability. It requires that each child with a
disability have access to the program best suited to that child s special needs which is as close as
possible to a normal child s educational program (Martin, 1978). The Individualized education

Until that time, many states had laws that excluded children with certain types of disabilities
from attending public school. These included children who were blind, deaf and children labeled
emotionally disturbed or mentally retarded. Many of these children lived at state institutions
where they received limited or no educational services. Having a disability does not
automatically qualify a student for special education services under the IDEA. The disability
must result in the student needing additional or different services to participate in school. For
example, a child who is diagnosed autistic. Children with disabilities who qualify for special
education are also automatically protected by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and
under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Research shows that the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act Amendments of 1997 shifted the focus of IDEA to improve teaching
and learning by emphasizing the individual educational plan as a primary tool for educational
planning. This increased the role of parents in educational decision making. Part B of this law
provided resources and services for children ages 3 through 5 with developmental delays or those
with an identified disability. Part C of IDEA authorizes financial assistance to support the needs of
infants and toddlers with disabilities and the needs of their families. Agencies are to provide

Reflection About Suffering
Introduction
Christians know other Christians are prone to suffering. Non Christians I have spoken to
believe that Christians have a happy life. Non believers believe we do not endure suffering
simply because in their reality, God is personified as a genie; Christians can simply pray for what
they desire in life; examples including money, power, wealth, and the Lord will grant those
desires immediately. However, Christians know suffering is inevitable. From a theological
standpoint, suffering is defined as: the experience of physical pain and mental distress. ( suffering
) If individuals were to evaluate suffering from a Christian perspective, we must realize categories
that come with suffering. First, suffering is the consequence of the flawed nature of creation.
Second, suffering is the direct consequence of one s violation of God s laws. Third, suffering can
be good for our faith, and finally suffering is embedded in truth, Christianity, and within the church.
Historical Development
Before looking at the categories which formulate suffering, I would like to look at Christian
authors who agreed with my categories of suffering and who also sparked my inspiration for
evaluating suffering from a believer s viewpoint.
The first author is John Bunyan. His book, The Pilgrim s Progress tells the story of Christian, a
pilgrim who journeys from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. The City of Destruction
emulates the world; Celestial City heaven. Christian was

As is known to all, people always have different views on one issue because of the different
understanding of objective things and personal experience. And that maybe why there is a great
number of conflicts in this world. People always have a stereotype view of the people who has a

argument, however, Davis presents his own argument, which is the coincidence is possible. But
Juror 3 stands out and rejects Davis s argument that he doesn t think it is possible. At this point,
Davis shows other jurors a very similar knife just like the boy s. Davis points out his evidence to
confirm his argument is correct, which is it is possible that someone stabbed a very similar knife
and killed the father, because Davis bought this knife in a shop that is two blocks from the boy s

Greek Philosopher Plotinus s Enneads
Delaina Storey Pope Huma 1315 February 2, 2016 Enneads 1.6 by Plotinus Summary In Volume 6
of Enneads, the Greek philosopher Plotinus gives his standpoint on what defines beauty. This
passage is noteworthy because of the way it contradicts the aesthetics of his day and age. Plotinus
begins by asking his audience to consider what beauty is. He offers the example of some things
being beautiful by the nature of the objects themselves, and something instead are beautiful by
participation, such as being virtuous (Plotinus 1). He prompts the audience to ask themselves
whether beauty is sensory since one may see or hear things they consider beautiful, what catches the
attention of someone ultimately leading to a feeling of attraction to certain things (Plotinus 1)?...

Plotinus refers to the other philosophers of his time stating, nearly everyone says that it is good
proportion of the parts to the whole, with the addition of the parts to the whole, with the addition of
good colour which produces visible beauty... and defines being beautiful as being well proportioned
and measured (Plotinus 1). Plotinus first rebuttal is, if beauty lies in being well proportioned, then
it is the parts put together properly that makes something beautiful so that the parts themselves
would not hold any beauty. He illustrates this by stating the parts will not have the property of
beauty by themselves, but will contribute to the beauty of the whole. He gives examples of simple
parts that are beautiful on their own such as, though an entire song is beautiful, one note may hold
beauty all the same (Plotinus 1). Plotinus strengthens his argument by asking where knowledge and
virtue, two beautiful things, were to fit into the common Greek aesthetic. Knowledge and virtue
cannot be of good proportion yet we still consider these beautiful, do we not (Plotinus

Executive Director Of The Harvard Business School...
According to Christina L. Darwall, executive director of the Harvard Business School California
Research Center, Built to flip is an essential element of competing in the new economy,
successful businesses are necessarily to be short in time. (Palowski, 2000) In the 21st century,
there is a rising impatience within the economy. Investors are no longer interested in long term
and sustaining companies, but most of the businesses are aiming to do quickly and get acquired
within a short period, which are the Build to flip companies. (Collin, 2000; p. 1) Under the
culture of entitlement, managers now see themselves are entitled to make money, and in a case
that The faster I go, the faster I feel I need to go . (Thrift, 2000; p. 26) As well as the rapid growth
of consumer demand, leads to the massive expansion in customer service entitlements. (2014,
Lecture 4; p. 8) This is an unquestionable sign of a boom in decay. (Thrift, 2000; p. 26) In addition,
impermanence is a feature in different phenomenon, and everything will come to the stage of
deterioration. (Zsolnai, 2014; p. 63) If it was permanent in everything, we do not have to make
choices, judgments, responsibilities and entitlements. (2014, Lecture 9; p. 1) Yet, the successes of
mass production and consumption in the new economy seem cause us entirely forgot to notify
finitude and limits of the whole world. This problem would be a threat in our future and the next
generation.

The practice of health care can be divided into two models in which a health professional may approach their patient. This includes the medical model, where the patient is only viewed as a syndrome, or the host of a disease, or the biopsychosocial model (BPS), which was developed by George L. Engel in 1977.1 The BPS model appreciates the person as a whole, having psychological and socio economic impacts on their health and adherence, as well as the ailment they may or may not be suffering from at any point in time.1 In the case of LH, where it is clear her health and wellbeing is being affected by her lifestyle, it would be more appropriate to approach the situation with the empathetic biopsychosocial model. The health professional is then able to understand LH s health and wellbeing by linking it to her social setting, namely her stress relatedly to her role as a single mother unstable living conditions. They can also appreciate her unwillingness to quit smoking if they connect it to the stress in her life. Understanding how LH s unemployment, homelessness and parenthood affects her ability to adopt good health care, can assist health professionals in developing an individualised health care plan for LH. Q2. Identify some of the barriers to medication adherence for this patient? Using the BPS model, the barriers to medication adherence can be predicted. A significant factor to ... First, he takes Legatt, the arrested first mate, under his wing and instead of arresting him, like he should, he tells him to hide in his quarters, and throughout the tale, we see Legatt nearly being captured multiple times, such as when the captain is asked where his coat is, and one of his crewmen reply that it was in his quarters in the bathroom, to which the captain suddenly goes into a cold sweat, worrying he might be found out if Legatt is seen. Caryl Churchill s play Far Away and Jane Taylor s Ubu and the Truth Commission Caryl Churchill s play Far Away and Jane Taylor s Ubu and the Truth Commission are two plays that both concern violent, corrupt political systems, but each playwright goes about confronting these issues in a quite different style. Jane Taylor structures her work with an omniscient perspective that allows the audience to see the reality of what is happening at all times, while Churchill utilizes a limited perspective that leaves the audience as unaware of the truth as her characters. These approaches result in two plays that are very different in character, but at the same time, both of the works successfully create a similar uneasy, frightening atmosphere ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Though one of the most prominent themes of Far Away is also truth, the audience views the action of the play from a completely different perspective than in Ubu. From the beginning of the play to the end, we sense that something is wrong, that something malicious is being covered up, but we are never fully aware of what that is. We may let our imaginations wander, but in the end we can never know exactly what the government is doing. Churchill purposely puts us in this position by showing us fragments of the lives of the characters. These fragments may be important moments, but they are nonetheless incomplete. Also, they are immersed in the world that characters live in; in other words, we see everything from the characters points of view. Therefore we see not the actual truth of the situation but only what Joan, Harper, and Todd believe, and their beliefs are skewed by the oppressive and deceptive nature of the government as well as by their own self deceptions. One manner in which both playwrights explore the theme of truth is through the compliance of the populations (or parts of the populations) with the existing regimes. The developmental characteristics of middle adolescents include sexual identity, role experimentation, moral development, and self discovery (Ashford LeCroy, 2010). Adolescents are evaluating how they fit into society and more specifically their social sphere. During this time, friends, social groups, and cultural trends greatly impact the adolescent. Many people have their own ideas of what organic means. My personal definition, before this research assignment, was that organic products were grown with no pesticides, chemical additives, or preservatives and grown in a humane way. In the case of the meat we eat, how do we know that it is truly organic (hence the necessity for a more strict definition), and why do we even need it to be? There are several reasons for us to eat organic meat, depending on what the definition ultimately ends up being. One reason to eat organic meat is the fact of the spread of Bovine spongiform encephalopathy or what is more commonly known as Mad Cow Disease. The most common way for companies to start the process of filling an open position, is to create a job posting. Job postings are most commonly posted on popular online job websites, such as Glassdoor or Indeed. Many of the companies will also use software that will sift through the thousands of resumes received and select a group of candidates that it feels are ideal for the position. The company will then proceed to interview those candidates. With software that selects resumes based on keywords that are specific to the job, it only makes sense for candidates to tailor their resumes to maximize the opportunity to achieve that initial interview. They strategized that by enforcing the right of suffrage for African Americans they would automatically receive the right to vote. Their calculations were based off of the hierarchal rules implied by the Jim Crow South. During the Jim Crow Era, segregationists feared that reconstruction would mess with the inherent order of their society by making Black men equal to White men and beneath them allowing Black women to be equal to White women. Their restoration period stressed that the gender/racial hierarchy be preserved as follows: White men, White women, Black men, and then Black women. The Northern women assumed that there was no way they would give Black men the right to vote without giving White women the right to vote first, since they were higher up on Jim Crow s hierarchy. However, their initial plan was unfeasible due to mutual disagreement amongst men in regards to women s suffrage. Even the radical men believed that supporting women s suffrage was pushing things too far and risked the nullification of the fourteenth amendment. Regardless of, they pushed for its ratification. The novel tells the tale of a group of schoolboys who are miraculously marooned on a desert island after their plane crashes. At first the boys attempt to govern themselves and to keep a grasp on civilization and order; In the beginning the island was very much like their home, but eventually this ideology fades into savagery and brutality. The boys resort to theft, torture and even murder. Although The Lord of the Flies depicts many themes and morals, the underlying theme is the battle between the human impulse towards civilization and savagery. This theme is brilliantly and respectively portrayed by battle of the two characters; Jack and Ralph. In the beginning there was only the main protagonist Ralph and Piggy, they soon realise that there is a possibility that there may be other survivors and decide to call the others using a conch shell that Ralph and Piggy had found earlier, Ralph had stopped smiling and was pointing into the lagoon. Something creamy lay among the ferny weeds. It consisted of over one and a half million tesserae (From the Greek word tesseres which means square .), or small pieces of colored stone and glass, none larger than 4 mm, in four colors: white, yellow, red, and black. Several of the colors seen in the mosaic are the natural color of the marble pieces. Octavian was the son of Gaius Octavius, a senator, but was the adopted son of Julius Caesar. Essentially Octavian, or Augustus as he became known as in 27BC, was a conservative republican. This is shown by Res Gestae Divi Augusti (literally the achievements of the Divine August ) paragraph 8: I brought back into use many exemplary practises of our ancestors which were disappearing in our time. And also by Suetonius The Twelve Caesars, Augustus, chapter 93: Augustus showed great respect to all ancient and long established foreign rites. The Republican system was based on a ... But how were these aims to fit into the fact that Octavian wanted to remain in power, and not be too obvious about this fact? Following the death of Julius Caesar, on the 27th of November in 43BC Titius, a tribune passed the lex titia in the tribunal assembly. This was a law appointing Anthony, Lepidus and Octavian triumvirs for 5 years, but this time could be lengthened. This was the technique of a populares, rather than being passed by the Senate and being Optimates. The Triumvirs were clever in the fact that they did not advertise the unconstitutional position of dictator. The leader of the three men to rule was Antony a leading Caesarean and so therefore a populares. The constitutional position stood against the ideals of the Roman Republic and therefore brought an end to the Roman Republic. • 29. Ozymandias Figurative Language Essay Poetry of any era furthers our understanding of the current world. This is because many of the issues we once faced, we still face today. In this short essay I will compare and contrast figurative language in two poems. The first of which will be Ozymandias by Percy Shelley written in 1818; and the second of which, will be Ode to a Nightingale by John Keats written a year later in 1819. Ode to a Nightingale explores the themes of mortality and impermanence. In Shelley s work, Ozymandias examines the themes of power and mortality. The first thing I have noticed is that both have a strong focus ancient civilizations and a distinct focal point on the ancient Greeks and Romans. In Greek myth, a young woman named Philomela, whose tongue was cut out by her rapist to prevent her from telling anyone about her molestation; was turned into a ... I believe the speaker says this because he believes the wine speaks about has mystical powers that will allow him to live forever. Through its imagery, the speakers want (need?) is conveyed for a drug/drink induced state. It seems as though the speaker wants this so that he can feel some sort of connection with the Nightingale and nature. The speaker s mood changes and in the fourth stanza he does not want to turn back to drinking and instead wants to fly on the, wings of poesy (33). Meaning that he has found his salvation in poetry rather than drink. The speaker s awareness of the real world pulls him back from his fantasy world of drink joy. He understands that he cannot become the nightingale as the human world is not withdrawable and mortality is inescapable. At the same time the poem Ozymandias also uses imagery to convey its ... A Farewell to Arms In Ernest Hemingway s fiction book A Farewell to Arms the reader follows protagonist Frederic Henry through his continuously winding journey. This colorful wartime book possesses many themes, but contrary to the idea hinted behind Joel Armstrong s literary criticism A Powerful Beacon LoveIlluminating Human Attachment in Hemingway s A Farewell to Arms love is not the central theme of the book. The topic that does reoccur and therefore proposes itself as the central principle, however, is the idea associated behind the process of healing from pain. In the book, both Frederic Henry and Catherine Barkley had to fight against pain during the times when Barkley loses her first lover, when Henry suffers from the trench mortar trauma, and when Henry bids farewell to the dying Barkley. In the opening pages of the book, Hemingway did a fantastic job in highlighting Barkley s grief for her lost lover. Notably, Barkley had never met Henry before, but with his mention of the stick which belonged to her fiance, she instinctively talked with anguish. He was a very nice boy. He was going to marry me and he was killed in the Somme... He could have had anything he wanted if I would have known (Hemingway 18 19). Even so, the next night she would allow Henry to give her a kiss. Oh, darling, she said. You will be good to me, won t you? (Hemingway 27). Although the plot of the movie is fictional there are many aspects that relate to what happened in the war, but some have discrepancies. The Patriot is the story of a South Carolina plantation owner, Benjamin Martin, who is played by Mel Gibson. It is more a story of a family during the war then the war itself. When all of the men from Charleston gathered to the town meeting to discuss whether they should join the war effort and separate with England or not, Martin speaks of taxation without representation, which in fact was a major factor in the war. It requires that each child with a disability have access to the program best suited to that child s special needs which is as close as possible to a normal child s educational program (Martin, 1978). Until that time, many states had laws that excluded children with certain types of disabilities from attending public school. These included children who were blind, deaf and children labeled emotionally disturbed or mentally retarded. Many of these children lived at state institutions where they received limited or no educational services. Having a disability does not automatically qualify a student for special education services under the IDEA. The disability must result in the student needing additional or different services to participate in school. For example, a child who is diagnosed autistic. Children with disabilities who qualify for special education are also automatically protected by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Research shows that the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Amendments of 1997 shifted the focus of IDEA to improve teaching and learning by emphasizing the individual educational plan as a primary tool for educational planning. This increased the role of parents in educational decision making. Part B of this law provided resources and services for children ages 3 through 5 with developmental delays or those with an identified disability. Non believers believe we do not endure suffering simply because in their reality, God is personified as a genie; Christians can simply pray for what they desire in life; examples including money, power, wealth, and the Lord will grant those desires immediately. However, Christians know suffering is inevitable. From a theological standpoint, suffering is defined as: the experience of physical pain and mental distress. ( suffering ) If individuals were to evaluate suffering from a Christian perspective, we must realize categories that come with suffering. First, suffering is the consequence of the flawed nature of creation. Second, suffering is the direct consequence of one s violation of God s laws. Third, suffering can be good for our faith, and finally suffering is embedded in truth, Christianity, and within the church. Historical Development Before looking at the categories which formulate suffering, I would like to look at Christian authors who agreed with my categories of suffering and who also sparked my inspiration for evaluating suffering from a believer s viewpoint. The first author is John Bunyan. His book, The Pilgrim s Progress tells the story of Christian, a pilgrim who journeys from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City. The City of Destruction emulates the world; Celestial City heaven. Christian was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

And it is not possible that the knife just fell out from the boy s pocket and someone picked it up and stabbing the victim or someone else use the exactly same knife to kill boy s father because it is a not possible coincidence. Greek Philosopher Plotinus s Enneads Delaina Storey Pope Huma 1315 February 2, 2016 Enneads 1.6 by Plotinus Summary In Volume 6 of Enneads, the Greek philosopher Plotinus gives his standpoint on what defines beauty. This passage is noteworthy because of the way it contradicts the aesthetics of his day and age. Plotinus begins by asking his audience to consider what beauty is. He offers the example of some things being beautiful by the nature of the objects themselves, and something instead are beautiful by participation, such as being virtuous (Plotinus 1). He prompts the audience to ask themselves whether beauty is sensory since one may see or hear things they consider beautiful, what catches the attention of someone ultimately leading to a feeling of attraction to certain things (Plotinus 1)?... Plotinus refers to the other philosophers of his time stating, nearly everyone says that it is good proportion of the parts to the whole, with the addition of the parts to the whole, with the addition of good colour which produces visible beauty... and defines being beautiful as being well proportioned and measured (Plotinus 1). Plotinus first rebuttal is, if beauty lies in being well proportioned, then it is the parts put together properly that makes something beautiful so that the parts themselves would not hold any beauty. He illustrates this by stating the parts will not have the property of beauty by themselves, but will contribute to the beauty of the whole. He gives examples of simple parts that are beautiful on their own such as, though an entire song is beautiful, one note may hold beauty all the same (Plotinus 1).
