J Robert Oppenheimer was born on April 22nd 1904 and was first schooled in Ethical culture before attending Harvard for college. He was responsible for collecting, coordinating, and leading the team that developed and detonated the first atomic bomb, and later took over Albert Einstein's old position as senior professor of theoretical physics at the Institute of Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.
