9. Protocol
• Tissue debridement + washout
• Apply IV3000 sandwich
• Immediate release normal daily ADL’s + return to
work
• May get hand wet normally
• Remove + wash wound with soap and water and dry
wound + reapply IV3000 every 2-3 days
• I tell patient 6-8 weeks healing time
• F/u patient q 3 weeks for wound check

• 21 pts with distal tip injury completed IV3000 protocol
• age range 13 to 90 years
• 17 men / 4 women
• 7 Thumb, 2 IF, 4 MF, 3 RF, 5 SF

• All patient self directed dressing change at home
• All wounds healed by 8 week follow up
• All had full return ROM
• No complications
