Here are a few ways you could expand your mentoring experience in computer science:
1. Offer tutoring in introductory computer science courses. Many students struggle with concepts like programming logic, data structures, and algorithms. You could help explain challenging concepts and help with homework assignments.
2. Create a study group for upper-division CS courses. Organize regular meetings for students in courses like operating systems, databases, machine learning, etc. to work through problems together.
3. Volunteer as a teacher's assistant. See if any CS professors need help grading assignments, holding office hours, or demoing course material. This gives you teaching experience.
4. Mentor K-12 students interested in CS.
