3.  1. Regional Hosting – Allows Areas to host on
the regional server by offering it to Areas free.
 2. Any Area can use the Joomla Areal Template
which is very simple to use. You do not have to
have any special IT skills or a web servant to
take on this position.
 3.The IT Services Committee does offer online
training by using a tool the region purchased
called Zoho.
 4. Conference calling for Adhoc Meetings, Sub-
Committee Meetings, Regional Events.
 5.Video Conferencing for Local or Regional
Events.

– for addicts that for many reasons can’t get to a
physical NA meeting, Non Scheduled for addicts –
Used for special emergencies. e.g. An addict in
jeopardy of relapsing or using and needs a meeting
or addicts babysitting him/her.

Home Groups members that want to go to but can’t
for various reasons(Physically disabilities, no
transportation , work schedule, single parents who
don’t have a babysitter.

7.  In most areas, to become the web servant, service
member must have experience with HTML, Java or
various web coding software applications.
 This would eliminate this problem. Anyone who
has a computer and knows how to navigate
throughout the web or knows how to use MS Word
could quickly learn and be trained to maintain the
website. So, the pool of volunteers becomes larger
in number.
 WNIR IT Services Sub-committee provides a ready
made template, the web servant would just has to
enter content, meetings and flyers, etc.

8.  The Regional Areal Joomla Web Template is
now available for any Area to use and change
to their liking. The List off Areas that have

13.  We first used the use of teleconferencing to
have our first adhoc meeting.
 The web application we used to do this is
called FreeConference.com.
 This online application basically gives the
users a phone # to dial in and an access
number # to allow each member access to the
call session.

23.  1. A motion has to be written
 2. The RSC will have to vote on it or discuss if
this is something they want
 3. RSC will direct IT Services to look for a
comparable merchant account. ( C&E uses one
we may be able to use. PHP based plugin)
 4. IT Services will look for the best merchant
company that allows us to accept payments.
(Master Card, Visa, Discovery, etc)
 5. If approved we can install a button on the
region site.
