We run training workshops and sessions both in person and online, so would be happy to
train you and/or our clients for whom you develop Joomla! websites.
Learn Joomla! workshops are run over one /two /three days, from 9am - 3pm each
day, in training venues throughout South Africa, Africa and beyond on demand.
Learn Joomla! Online: A basic orientation to Joomla! would be two hours, with a
more thorough exploration taking four hours.

End-Users (beginner) 9am - 3 pm
Learn the intermediate principles needed to administer your own
Joomla! website(s). This course is designed for anyone with basic
computer skills who want to get a dynamic web site up and running
fast. By the end of the day you will have started to use a Joomla!
web site, be able to add news, events, documents, links, users,
content pages, media and understand how to make the most of your
Joomla! powered website. (maximum 10 per class).
The course will cover the following topics;
• Introduction to Open Source Software and Joomla!
• Intro to Joomla! site structure & Google search
• How To: Edit content using various WYSIWYG editor
• How To: Load media and insert it into content
• How To: Plan content with your visitors in mind
• How To: Set keywords & descriptions
• How To: Create image galleries
• How To: Share documents for download
• How To: Create events to attract visitors
• Tips: Harnessing the power of collaboration
• Tips: Search Engine Strategies to ensure a first page ranking

Learn the intermediate principles needed to administer

will have installed, managed & extended a Joomla! website

members directory, discussion forum or a document
