3. Who we are Mr. Hidalgo founded it CO in 2008 to give him the ability to focus on his cost reduction initiatives serving clients in the Northeast. He has over 25 years of experience in Financial analysis and management, project management, Telecom engineering, I.T. operations, and strategic consulting. His broad and deep experience enables him to truly understand the cost components and drivers for large I.T. organizations, and how to effectively reduce costs without degrading service levels. Prior to starting his own company, he was a successful Manager with Deloitte Consulting in their Strategy & Operations practice. While there he worked with numerous Fortune 500 clients, performing cost reduction engagements, data center strategic assessments, network assessments, and establishing an I.T. Program Management Office for a multi-billion dollar corporate merger. Before joining the consulting ranks, Pete also worked for Ernst & Young where he was responsible for managing the financial operations for their Global I.T. operations division. He managed an annual budget of $100 million and was also responsible for all vendor and contract management functions. In addition, Pete was responsible for the business operations of their server and application hosting services. Mr. Hidalgo led various initiatives focused on reducing the group's annual I.T. operating expense budget, which were quite successful. Examples include reducing the annual hosting budget by $3 Million per year by developing and implementing a cost chargeback system, and reducing the Telecom budget by over $6 Million per year. Mr. Hidalgo has also worked in the Telecommunications industry for over 12 years. - He was a Director with Tyco Telecommunications building international, undersea, fiber optic networks. - He was the Area Manager for Nextwave Wireless responsible for the construction of a wireless network in Florida - Mr. Hidalgo served as a Senior Backhaul Engineer for Sprint responsible for the NY Metro area - He worked for NY Telephone/Bell Atlantic/Verizon as a Senior Design Engineer responsible for Northern Manhattan Mr. Hidalgo also has extensive Program Management experience in the Defense sector He is ITIL certified and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Mr. Hidalgo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. Who we are Mr. Elliott has over 10 years of civilian and military leadership experience specializing in program and project management, information technology project management, and global telecommunications. Prior to joining it CO, Mr. Elliott was with CA, Inc., where he managed a number of complex software implementation projects in their client environments. David also managed the client relationships, and his successful projects led to follow on services worth over $1M in new revenue. At Ernst and Young, David was responsible for managing projects to upgrade and support the firm’s global IT organization. He successfully led several large scale projects that enhanced the firm’s ability to service its customers, including disaster recovery/business continuity and application performance monitoring for the Global Financial Information System, data center moves, web content filtering, and infrastructure expansions. Mr. Elliott has extensive experience in managing the design and construction of domestic and global telecommunications networks and data centers in the United States, Asia, and the Middle East for large multi-national companies. Among them are the construction of the US military’s voice and data communications buildings and networks in Iraq, and the installation of undersea fiber optic network systems in Asia and the US. As a soldier in the US Army Reserve, Mr. Elliott was called to active duty to lead a Civil Affairs team during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003, conducting humanitarian assistance, security, and local government liaison missions. Mr. Elliott is also an adjunct instructor, and teaches graduate courses in project management and project planning and controls. Mr. Elliott has a MBA, and a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology.
