The document discusses several idioms and phrases related to conflict and peace. It begins by explaining that a "war of words" refers to public criticism between opposing sides due to disagreement, while a "war of nerves" implies trying to gain psychological advantage in situations like sports. It then defines being "in the wars" as having injuries from accidents or fights. Additionally, it contrasts being "at peace with the world" and not feeling angry, with being "on the warpath" and looking to punish others. The document concludes by providing phrases related to preventing arguments, such as coming in peace, disturbing the peace, and keeping the peace.
We explore these two terms, why there is tension between these two groups in the Black Community and addressing actually raising true Black consciousness to progression.

What is Stress? Essay
This document discusses Michel Foucault's concept of experience and how it relates to his critique of psychiatry and the social construction of mental illness. It notes that Foucault argued experience is dynamic, emotive, historical, and unstable. His case study of madness demonstrated that the concept of madness does not necessarily correspond to its real-world object, as mental illness is socio-culturally produced. The document examines how experience is a "ficto-reality" constructed through concepts and discourses that have real consequences but which are changeable.
In a 1968 essay, anthropologist Margaret Mead argued that anxiety has replaced more direct fears in modern societies due to advances in technology and equity. Where people once feared violence, hunger, and other immediate dangers, anxiety now stems from an uncertain future and changing social conditions. Mead saw anxiety as a sign of progress rather than something to be eliminated, as it indicates relative safety and opportunity. However, her view that anxiety could be diminished through acceptance of human mortality seems naïve today given how modern anxieties are often rooted in trivial daily concerns rather than an existential confrontation with death.
The document discusses the causes and effects of stress. It states that stress is caused by a variety of factors in modern life like rapid change, peer pressure, health issues, and work-life imbalance. It then describes how stress can negatively impact people's physical and mental health by leading to issues like anxiety, insomnia, hypertension and more. Finally, it recommends practicing yoga and meditation, especially chanting the Hare Krishna maha mantra, to help control the mind and nourish the soul, thereby finding relief from stress.
Melancholy, By Carina Del Valle SchorskeLana Sorrels
The document analyzes the film Melancholia, directed by Lars von Trier. It discusses how the film depicts depression through its dreamlike aesthetic and the detached perspective of the main character Justine. Scenes and symbols in the film, like Justine floating lifelessly in a stream, reference works like Ophelia and evoke a sense of hopelessness and detachment from reality that reflects the depressed mindset. The ending rejects cliches and instead shows something deeper and more poetic by having the characters experience the end of the world in a way that reflects the perspective of depression.

In modern humanity, where 1% people own and monopolize 99% of incomes and wealth, globally, if humanity could trace one single element, that has somehow equitable and abundant distribution across geography, cultures and demography, that definitively stands out as STRESS…! In contemporary time-space of human march towards excellence and wellness, everyone seems to have only one singular thing as equally enough is STRESS…!

Often, most people have the innate consciousness to see and visualize a probability – opportunity as well as a threat, only in the near future. Average mind cannot see deep and long in future; our brain and consciousness is designed this way.
This document proposes a New Year's resolution to strive to be autonomous from one's nature and nurture by becoming a conscious observer and decider of one's own decisions. It explains that most decisions are shaped by subconscious influences from instincts and culture rather than conscious choice. The resolution is to regain sovereignty over one's own mind by making choices based on holistic consideration rather than subconscious impulses. Adopting this resolution could help one gain more control over their destiny and become empowered rather than a slave to unconscious influences.
This document summarizes the realities of violence faced disproportionately by women globally and historically at the hands of men. It connects this reality to claims by some young men that they "fear" women becoming too "obsessed" with offenses against them. The document argues that such claims fail to acknowledge the immense dangers still faced by women on a regular basis from male violence. It suggests young men develop greater empathy and understanding of the experiences that shape women's heightened sensitivity to violations of their safety and dignity.
1. The document discusses issues around modern attitudes towards marriage among young men and women. It suggests that contemporary culture promotes individualism over community and compromise, making long-term relationships more difficult.
2. It analyzes data showing that while marriage is not a priority for many, dating remains popular, indicating confusion. It also notes that single life is satisfying but something is still missing for many.
3. The document proposes that marriages require evolution and upgrading to make the institution more appealing and suitable to modern lives. Both societal issues and outdated relationship models contribute to reluctance around marriage.
The document discusses the science of respect and how it impacts individuals and societies. It argues that respect is not well understood despite its significant influence on human behavior. It also suggests that women often prioritize being liked over being respected, while men prioritize respect, and this dynamic has societal impacts. Finally, it discusses how lack of respect for certain groups, such as minorities and teenagers, can lead to feelings of resentment and retaliation, negatively impacting social cohesion.

Beware of the potential of your stupid mind, it is the genius of hallucinations and as brain is where all realism starts and ends, our brain keeps churning its mechanism of reality-construction, through its hallucination-factory, piling up ‘Beliefs and Perceptions’ in the already over-buffered inventory.

1. The document discusses how both genius and stupidity are two sides of the same coin that stem from the gaps and potentials in human consciousness and quantum physics.
2. It argues that humanity inherently trades in "somethingness", which is probabilistic expressions of gaps that allow the sale of ideas in politics, religion, and culture.
3. Intellectuals and non-intellectuals alike consume these ideas of "somethingness" in the same way, regardless of the different branding or packaging. The underlying commodity is the same.
From Nehru To Modi: What’s Changed In Red Fort Rhetoric?Santosh Jha
This document discusses the history and principles of rhetoric and public speaking. It notes that rhetoric, or the art of verbal persuasion, has been practiced for thousands of years in many ancient civilizations as a way for people to express their ideas and gain support. The Greeks are credited with establishing the core elements of a good speech: logical reasoning, specificity, and evoking emotions. It analyzes how the annual Independence Day speeches given by Indian Prime Ministers at Red Fort have changed over time, both in topic and oratory style. It encourages open debate on this topic but stresses focusing the discussion on these three classical elements of rhetoric.

It Is An ANGRY World; But Then,
What’s The Pathology Of Anger?
People are angry… Is it a calamitous situation…?
2. People have always been angry… Anger is visceral…!
Moreover, anger is not bad or outright wrong…
Whatever is part of human body-mind mechanism, has utility and worth…
It is all about poise and purpose… how we use the energies…
Energy of anger is neutral… it is there for purpose too…!
It is like a fever… it is painful but good… body has this mechanism…
Fever tells you about a pathological situation… a metabolic trouble…
What is then the pathology of anger…?
Do we consider that anger in contemporary milieus is high…?
High fever, or high anger is a sign of trouble in milieus, physical as well as ideational…
What are those troubles…?
What are the pathological situations that making the public anger go out of hand…?
And, then, is that anger local, regional or a global pathological proposition…?
… intellectuals are warning that anger in public life of USA has gone so out of hand that they
think it is right to call USA as ‘United States Of Anger’… Is it true…?
Then, is India not in similar situation…?
Why only India, globally, is it not visible that anger has usurped all territories…?
Can we relate all major troubles of contemporary world primarily as ‘anger’
manifestation…? Terrorism… ! Racism…! Shoot Outs…! Gender-war…! Petty-Nationalism…!
Endless…
If anger is common, are pathological troubles common too globally…?
If yes, what are they…? If no, what then leads this commonality of high public anger…?
3. Primarily, the core and critical question is – ‘What Is Anger…?’
What in milieus and what elements within human mind mechanism triggers overload of
anger…?
Science says – ‘Anger is brain’s reaction to a situation, where individual perception makes
him or her feel overly threatened, leading the brain to signal all body faculties to join the
cause and lead a joint counter-measure to ensure survival…’
In simple terms – anger is brain’s call to fight with all might, whatever it seems is
threatening survival and well-being… Anger is call for ‘strength’ and ‘focus’ against an
identified or unidentified ‘enemy’…
Who then is this common ‘enemy’ humanity millions of people are feeling threatened by…?
… there is a ‘survival issue’ for contemporary humanity… the anger is well there… probably
simmering for long, deep and wide enough to affect billions worldwide… and, for sure, the
milieus we all live, across the globe seem like ‘threatening’ and unsuitable for well-being
feel deep inside… we need to decipher that…
More importantly, as anger rises in intensity and society-politics-economy keep failing to
douse the enraging fire, rather rage it up more, individuals start to vent their anger on
people as they fail to identify the ‘enemy’ in the milieus… this then keeps finding more
enemies…
Finally, as the contemporary situation of anger seems to be moving to, individual anger
extends the domains of ‘enemy’ and ‘animosity’ to families, relationships, ethnicity, races,
communities and nationality…
… the milieus have all possible platforms in contemporary world to spread the pathology to
every single healthy human… everything goes viral… or, at least has the potential of…
… it is already a war out there…
… as scientists say, ‘intelligent races become suicidal and themselves contribute to their
own extinction…’
4. Seems, primary alley to this road to finality is already being paved… is it, or not…!
