  1. How familiar are you with the Agile methodology? My perspective on the power of agile 1. solving for complexity in an ever changing work 2. Cross functional teams collaborating is the best way to deliver for complexity and unknown (holistic solution-ing) 3. Frequent inspect and adapt
  2. Teams get multiple perspectives. Cross functional thinking allows you to think of ideas holistically across different functions. No longer sufficient. We need diverse backgrounds, diverse experiences, diverse talents to make good teams - super teams

My definition of Diversity in not equality, it’s about building high performance For Diversity to happen we need an Inclusive environment The power I bring to a team with my experience of having Cerebral Palsy According to research from Glassdoor, 67% percent of job seekers said that a diverse workforce is an important factor to them when considering companies and job offers.   57% of employees want their company to do more to increase diversity.   Harvard Business Review reports that diverse companies are 70% more likely to report that the firm captured a new market.

Awesome problem solver - I’m used to coming up with creative solutions to navigate life - like getting up in the morning, traveling to work, and navigating the city Boston Consulting Group did a study and determined that companies that scored over the median for employing people with disabilities on average generated 38% more from innovative products and services This same study went on to shows that companies with the greatest gender diversity (8 out of every 20 managers were female) generated about 34% of their revenues from innovative products and services in the most recent 3 year period. Companies with innovation revenues of 25% for companies that have the least gender diversity (only 1 in 20 managers were female)

Have deep customer empathy - am able to really connect with customers as I can really empathize with customers to truly understand frustration and struggle - I have had to be able to read people whom I have to give complete trust in my personal care and well being…picked up a 6th sense to see what others don't Government of Canada 2013 study In the early 90s, a Harvard study demonstrated that organizations leveraging diversity are better able to adapt to changes in the external environment Are more innovative in anticipating and responding to these changes Adaptive cultures dramatically outperformed non-adaptive ones across many indicators, with 90 percent posting increased market valuation compared to 74 percent. 2005 U.S. survey of consumer perceptions Footnote 16  towards companies hiring people with disabilities found that 92 percent of the American public viewed these companies more favourably.
