Ireland is very cold and people
doesn’t get out of their houses. For
this reason dances were created,
they are some simple to dance,
social and entertaining. It was a
way to make people leave home
when they wanted to do.
THE HISTORY OF IRISH DANCING
 The history of Irish dance starts with Druids and their beliefs.
 The first dance has been modified repeatedly to different cultures that have
    invaded Ireland.
 After Druids, came the Celts who influenced in their culture for over 900
    years.
 Later the Vikings, with Celts, introduce the Feisianna, a festival of trade,
    politics and culture.
 Finally the Norman invasion brought the round dance to Ireland.
 Actually the Dancing Master has converted the old social dance into a solo or
step dance. We can find many Dancing Masters in Ireland.
