2. BIOGRAPHY
 Iris Murdoch was born in Dublin (Ireland) in
1919. She was an an Irish author and
philosopher, best known for her novels about
good and evil, sexual relationships, morality,
and the power of the unconscious. She won
many important prizes by some novels, she
was a important people in the irish literature,
too.
 Finally she dead in Oxfordshire (England) in
1999.

3. IMPORTANT NOVELS
 She wrote many novels in her life, but the
important novels are:
 The Unicorn (1963)
 The Black Prince (1973)
 The sea, the sea (1978)

4. BLACK PRINCE
 This novel is about various writers. About their
novels, their loves and all their life. But
especially about the human begins behavior.
The novel alternate comic escenes and tragic
escenes about the characters. This novel
should his name owe a character visiting other
writers disguised of black prince like Edward
Woodstock.

5. A fragment of Black Prince
 “Of course we arge sometimes. Marriage is a
long journey in close quarters. Of course
nerves get frayed. Every married person is a
Jekyll and Hyde, they’ve get to be.

6. Main Message
 The message in the last fragment is about
marriage people, but especially is about the
marriage.
 The message teaches us the marriage people
or couples not always get along. Every
married person is a jekyll and hyde but they’ve
got to be.
 Also the people are different each other and it
can’t be changed.
