SG Dialogue
First there’s a stone flying in pieces,
A strange kind of dust, then a crash. Patrick Bruel
Get out of your homes, wake up everyone “Combien de Murs?”
Who can now meet, after such a long time (How Many Walls?)

A wall has fallen, a man turns his head.
Did he just dream that? Or is this a new page turning?
Already a rumour is running town to town
People kissing, crying, but he stands still...

Has he lost his mind, is he going crazy?
Though his heart’s in joy, his eyes are blurred.
How many armours, how many masks, how many tombs,
How many walls are hidden behind a wall that falls?

Tears may be flowing, nobody turns to see.
History abandons overturned pages.
What kind of freedom will we speak about
When children come to ask us in the future?

The walls you have inside your head
Are taller than you are perhaps…
Why does no one tear them down… ever?
Of course, we hide them,
But we can never erase
The evils they have left… engraved!

I had forgotten the ironies of our history.
I had forgotten we have so little memory.
How many tears, how many hates, how many shames,
How many walls are hidden behind a wall that falls?

Am I the one who is going crazy?
Answer me, my eyes are blurred.
In whose name do you choose to pretend innocence?
In name of what freedom, of what transparency?
IPM?
What is that?
Dad, I have a question…
