In spring 2003, three filmmakers from Southern California ventured to Africa, uncovering the tragic plight of child soldiers in Northern Uganda, which led to their creation of the documentary 'Invisible Children: Rough Cut.' The film highlights the atrocities of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), including the abduction of children, the displacement of 1.8 million people, and numerous human rights violations. Despite international efforts for peace, LRA leader Joseph Kony has repeatedly failed to sign a final peace agreement.
