Sabbath School Investment is a over 100 year old church program that invites members to make investments for missions through projects or cash donations. The profits and proceeds are given as special offerings. Historically in the 1880s, members dedicated crops, cattle or cash to provide church equipment. The General Conference formalized it as the Investment Fund in 1925. The document outlines that investment is mandatory based on biblical passages about using talents and treasures for God. Members are encouraged to diversify investments, put treasures in secure heavenly investments through giving, and share profits to support God's world mission.

•Matthew 25:14-30
Parable of the Talents/Parable of the Bags of Gold
The Master entrusted to us the talents, time and treasures.
At the end of his journey, upon his return, he will require
to us to present gains and profits from whatever he
entrusted to us .

9. MATTHEW 25:26-30
• 26- “ His mastered replied, you wicked, lazy servant! So
you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and
gather where I have not scattered seeds?
• 27- “well then you should have put my money on deposit
with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have
received it back with interest”.

• 28- `So take the bag of gold from him and give it
to the one who has ten bags. 29`for whoever has
will be given more, and they will be have an
abundance. Whoever does not have, even what
they will be taken from them.
• 30`- and throw that worthless servant outside,
into the darkness, where there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
