Mallika and P.M. Shankar founded SAMMS Juke Box in 2001 with 80,000 and 50,000 INR respectively to provide marketing campaigns at petrol stations. They realized the potential of the 35,000 petrol stations across India as a platform to conduct campaigns. SAMMS' first campaign was a "Scratch n Win" promotion at 175 outlets in Mangalore that gave out over 27 lakh prizes. Since then, SAMMS has become a vendor for several major oil companies in India and has run many successful campaigns for various clients across industries. Currently, SAMMS is seeking 100 lacs in funding over two years to expand operations and participate in global exhibitions to pursue new business opportunities.
