This document provides an overview of the requirements for an English Literature exam, including: it will take place over two papers, each worth 50% and lasting 2 hours and 1.5 hours respectively; paper 1 will involve answering questions on two unseen passages totalling 1200-1400 words, while paper 2 will involve answering questions on poetry and prose texts previously studied in class; the exam will be assessed by teachers and moderated by Cambridge, with final grades ranging from A* to U.
