This document introduces Docker. Each virtualized environment runs
within its allocated resources, such
as memory, processing power, and

 Dockers packages software into standardized
units called containers that have everything the
software needs to run including libraries, system
tools, code, and runtime.

operating system. It uses the host
operating system.
 Dockers containers are formed with
Dockers engines’ help, and these
containers have applications running in
them. Requirements for those
applications, such as binaries and
libraries, are also packed in the same
container.
