This document describes a workshop on culturally responsive teaching using smart textiles and robotics. It involves students from different cultural backgrounds developing their own projects incorporating their cultures. Over five days, students will learn digital embroidery, photo resistive LED circuits, integrating music, and using bend sensors and servos to control motors. The goal is to engage students through their individual cultures while teaching STEAM skills like circuitry, programming, and design thinking. Students will present their culturally inspired creations at an exhibition at the end.
