The National Work Readiness Credential (NWRC) is a portable credential that certifies jobseekers have the necessary skills to succeed in entry-level work. It was created through partnerships between businesses, states, and workforce development organizations. The NWRC uses online modules and assessments to test skills in reading, math, listening, and situational judgment. Over 150 Minnesota businesses recognize the credential to help fill skills gaps identified by employers.
