This document provides information about the 13th Filmsaaz 2023 Internship Programme organized by the University Film Club of Aligarh Muslim University. 2. Introduction to
UNIVERSITY FILM CLUB
The University Film Club came into existence in 1974 on the
initiative of some enthusiastic faculty members who sought to
promote cinematic culture among the university students and
encourage a milieu where 'prose and poetry in motion'
becomes one of the great sources for aesthetic and
academic excellence.
The university boasts a long list of alumni who have made
their mark in the film fraternity, from the likes of Kanan
Devi,Naseeruddin Shah,K A Abbas,Javed Akhtar,Shakil
Badauni And Kaifi Azmi to Anubhav Sinha and Ajay
Jhingran.
The Film Club operates within the umbrella of Cultural
Education Centre which is the nucleus of most of the
university's extra-curricular activities and caters to its cultural
environmental.
Today the University Film Club continues to uphold its rich
traditions of filmmaking and strives to motivate students
towards the creative world of film. The Club organizes
Film Making Forums,
Film Screenings, Film & technology workshops,
Lectures, Debates, Quizzes, Group discussions
and various other programmes.

Internship Programme
This internship is a meaningful experience in the field of
filmmaking, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow as
a student. As a very popular medium of entertainment, film
brings so much colour and creativity to storytelling.

8. Internship Rule & Regulations
1.Attendance is mandatory.
2.Those who will not attend consistently will be blacklisted as per CEC rules and regulations
i.e. they will not be allowed to volunteer in any future event.
3.In case of emergency, you need to inform your internshipin-charge about the reason.
4.You must be disciplined and follow the instructions provided by the internship head and
the club secretary.
5.Your evaluation will be based on the tasks assigned by the internship in-charge.
6.In case of girls, outing will be provided for the hostellers (Time of arrival & departure will
be recorded).
7.There will be workshops arranged from 20th February 2023 to 4th March 2023.
8.All interns are prohibited from getting involved in any activities that could go against the
decorum of AMU.
9.On completion of the internship, all the interns are required to submit a progress report
mentioning their learnings and observations.
10.If an intern is found violating any of these rules, it would lead to their immediate
disqualification.
