Interactive Video Walls
1. Attention People walking pass can see that are followed by fish/butterflies
- drawing attention to the interactivity will increase curiosity to
discover more, to join the digital installation.
2. Interaction Users can join with any smart mobile phone web app and can
change “channel” and discover more options for interaction
by choice (without installing any app, just using standard web
browser)
3. Social Media User can directly share video wall content via social media,
personalise animated models, etc. Their friends around the world
can continue playing and sharing dynamic pages, with links to
Cairns and sponsors.

develop new art. The new theme for arts could be every couple

Installation could run on multiple screens on different location
and be connected via Internet. Users from other location can
share screen or join multiuser games or collaborative artwork.
Without language barrier (thanks to multi language support)
this could be used for promoting Cairns in other than English
speaking countries.
Portable version of full interactive presentation that contains
small Apple Mac Mini, High Definition Webcam, USB extension
cable and HDMI video cable could be carry in backpack and
connected to any projector or any size and format. This option
can be use for travel trade show or promoting Cairns region.
Other option is use portal supported website iReef.tv for fully
global access to some part of interactive installation or games.

Business proposition
Cairns Regional Council to cover just the cost of preparation to install the video walls (i.e.
single glass window at lagoon, base wall for Shield Street with electrical circuits, Internet
access)
Cairns Regional Council will permit advertisement on video wall - advertisers will pay for
developing software and hardware (Possible restriction that advertisers must be from
TTNQ members only)
Cairns Regional Council will agree on lease for 5 years (with option to renew contract)
AugRea Pty Ltd will cover cost of video walls screens, all running cost (managament of
programs, maintenance for internal external servers, on-site computers, monitoring,
cameras, etc)
