An implantable "artificial brain" containing all the world's information is being developed by scientists, many from Google, potentially making high intellects unnecessary. While computers and brains both use electrical signals, the brain also uses chemicals and will be able to access information instantly. If developed, these implants could be controlled externally, raising concerns about manipulation. True intelligence is about more than intellect alone and requires balance with emotional, spiritual and other aspects of personal development to avoid issues like schizophrenia. Wisdom comes from life experiences, not just intellect.

1. Intellect is Outdated?

It’s a blessing to have a high intellect. We have so much to be
thankful for those with high IQ’s in making this a more
advancing world in many ways! It’s ironic that high intellects
have canceled the need for ‘high intellects naturally’ by inventing
a miniature device that can be implanted in the head containing all the information in the world!
More than on Google! In fact, many of the scientists working on the ‘artificial brain’ are from
Google corporation.
The Computer and the brain: ‘’Similarities and Differences. Both use electrical signals to send
messages. The brain uses chemicals to transmit information; the computer uses electricity.
Even though electrical signals travel at high speeds in the nervous system, they travel even
faster through the wires in a computer.’’ In reality, the brain will eventually be able to almost
instantly access information asked for.
Maybe this is scary stuff, but so are the computer developments leading up to this. One
iphone has more information on it’s hardware than the 20’ x 20’ foot room stacked with
computers as one of the first ones in the world serving Wall St. I worked for that
company in the late 70’s as it was the talk of Manhattan (NY). The next step is well in the
works, and if you’re reading this in near future years, you may have one of the implants.
The danger of any chip or miniaturized brain has it’s alarming points like can they be
controlled from the outside. Manipulation-domination & control is a
big red flag. Does the ‘Devils number 666 from the book of
Revelation have any merit?
There is a difference between ‘intellect’ and intelligence’. One can
be intelligent and not even be able to read or write. Conversely and
a high intellectual person may not have high emotional quotient or
spiritual or intuitive or … Another approach to looking at IQ is an
‘eidetic’ (total recall) memory a major ingredient? Take it away and
IQ would definitely go down. We have to remember the importance
of all personal aspects of love both of self and others must never continue to be short changed as it has
been since the beginning of time. For the first time with all the distractions and rising technology, we
need to remember that more love needs to make the world go round in better and better ways.
Intellectual work is superficial and may create schizophrenia if not balanced by positive emotion.
Emotion creates depth where things are challenged which wouldn’t be otherwise. Humans need to be
challenged and when challenged intelligence or emotion both create their own bliss. A healthy intellect
needs a healthy feeling heart. Wisdom comes from beyond the intellect but from life lived with it’s
challenges and opportunities to grow.
