SECURITY TABLE TOP DRILL

1. Simulation; Mess Boy Kaharudin was holding sharp knive on the neck of Deck Cadet Hendriadi and threat to
kill him if any one come closer, 3rd Officer as an Officer on Watch call 2nd engineer and advise to
persuasively talk to him with their own language. After some chit-chat Kaharudin realised and dropped the
knive then started to crying. Master as SSO reported the situation to PFSO
Muster on the station, Alternate SSO – Second Officer reported to Master as SSO that all security team
including PFSO and staff been assembled and waiting for further instructions,
Master instruction to proceed.
PFSO and Staff boarded and arrested the Kaharudin for further investgation.
Evaluation: Crew familiar with the drill, communication good, drill duration in time, and drill
conducted satisfaction.
