1. Bauer Media Group is a European-based media company, situated in
Hamburg, Germany
2. They manages more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products
and 50 radio and TV stations around the world.
3. The portfolio includes print shops, postal, distribution and marketing
services. Bauer Media Group has a workforce of approximately
11,000 employees in 17 countries.

3. Q’S BRIEF HISTORY…
1. The magazine was founded in 1986 by Mark Ellen and David
Hepworth.
2. It publishes monthly.
3. It was published by EMAP media group from 1986 to 2008.
4. At the start it was famous for its higher standard of photography
and printing.
5. In the early years, the magazine was sub-titled "The modern guide
to music and more". Originally it was to be called Cue (as in the
sense of cueing a record, ready to play), but the name was
changed so that it wouldn't be mistaken for a snooker magazine.

MEDIA

1. It used to be called regent communications until 2010,
founded in 1994
1. Its based in Greenwich Connecticut.
2. It started with radio then expanded into digital media towards the
2000s
3. Townsquare is the third-largest AM–FM operator in the country,
owning over 310 radio stations in 66 markets

6. BRIEF HISTORY OF XXL
1. Harris publications released the first issue of XXL.
2. Its started in 1997 in New York, USA.
3. Other titles with limited runs have been launched under
the XXL brand, including Hip-Hop Soul, Eye
Candy and Shade45. XXL has released many other special projects
including tour programs, mixtapes and exclusive DVDs. XXL also
maintains a popular website, which provides daily hip hop news,
original content and content from the magazine.
4. In 2013, XXL started their own annual awards. The public would
choose the top 5 acts along with the XXL staff.
