I have incorporated Twisted Pictures
company in my trailer. The reason
for my decision is because they are
one of many big names in horror
movies. Although other companies
have experienced in Horror, this
company in particular is well known
and has a successful reputation for
the genre Horror. Twisted pictures is
an American independent
production. The company was
founded in 2004 by Evolution
Entertainment's Mark Burg, Oren
Koules and Gregg Hoffman. They are
best known for producing the Saw
film series.

Another institution that has focused
on the genre horror, is Hammer
productions. Hammer films is a film
production company based in the
United Kingdom, which was
founded in 1934. The company is
best known for 'Gothic Hammer
horror' films made from 1950s till
1970s. They also produce thriller,
Sci-fi film, film noir and comedies
and later on they produced
television series. Furthermore
Hammer produced the film like the
Curse of Frankenstein, Dracular and
The Mummy.

Universal studios is an American
motion picture studio owned by
Comcast and is one of the six major
movie studios. Universal pictures
was founded in Loss Angeles in 1912
by Carl Laemmle and is the oldest
American movie studio still in
production today. In addition, it
owns a collection of TV shows such
as – NBC universal distribution
Universal studios have distributed a
number of Horror films such as ‘The
Wolf Man’ directed by George
Waggner and based on a script
written by Curt Siodmark in 1941.

founded in 1935 as a result of Fox
film corporation funded by William
Fox. The studio is currently located in
Los Angeles with the owners being
News corporation which is owned by
Rupert Murdoch.

directed by Sean Lavy starring Ben

Universal – This means universal for all. In other words the content is
suitable for all ages therefore the majority of footage under this category
is based for younger children so the content must be appropriate.
PG- This stands for parental guidance, this is because some scenes
may be unsuitable for some children.
The 12A sign means that an adult must accompany any child under
the age of 12 seeing a 12A film at the cinema. No one younger than
12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.
The sign 12 refers to DVD’s, videos and blue-rays.
No one younger than 15 may see a ‘15’ film in a cinema. No one younger
than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video.
This sign means that no one under the age of 18 may see an 18 film
in the cinema. No one younger than may rent or buy an ‘18’ rated
