2. - Hello and welcome back to the second part of the Disc/Servo Update of Instant City, a BaMC Challenge! In the first Part,
TCO and Ultimata decided to put a stop to the evil Mayor Servo S-4 that threatened to overtake the city… well he is the
mayor, so he’d already done that, but the city wasn’t enough for him, that’s for sure… so they decided to literally build a
force of opposing voters – they’re Servos, they can build more of them - while slowly spreading a smear campaign disguised
as political opinion research through the City… also, they meta-skill by drinking Orangeade and buying more businesses,
because it helps them… in some way… … … look, it IS difficult to make my gameplay sound like there is actually some kind
of plot going on, okay?....-

3. -… so last time, we ended on a pink gorilla… unfortunately, he already left, never to be seen again … *sigh*… anyway, time
for a new business to buy…-

4. -… and this time it’s a building I made myself(!) for a change, a warehouse template, meant to be placed in the exact same
space as these deco row house ruins are supposed to stand…-

5. -… which I almost, almost got right… unfortunately, the deco clips through the building in lot view… oh well…-

6. -… and as you’ve already read, the first template I used contains… a music hall, yeah! -

7. -… so pull the strings, hit the drums and ROCK ON, YEAAAAH! –
‘For whom are we playing again…?’
‘… for his delusions, whom else?’

8. -… despite certain party poopers suggesting otherwise… we actually had guests coming to hear the music, and of course
they had to pay for entrance…-

9. -… and it might not look like it, but people were storming the podium over and over and threw money at our performers,
and everyone was completely dazed by all the colors and scents and fun and…-

10. -… anyway, we then reached level 5…-

11. -… and after coming home and moving out Couple U-3…-

12. -… we activated Servo T-2…-

13. -… and his Servafriend…-

14. -… and then it was back to the music hall again, where TCO taught them the business perks…-

15. -… then they got their additional skills…-

16. -… their pottery and sewing badges…-

17. -… and Orangeade…-

18. -… and then it was back to rocking again – YEAAAAAAAH! –
‘Okay, this is now both delusional AND insulting… We’ve just been activated and he just runs through the start of our
existence like a bulldozer…’
‘ PSSSSST – quiet! Don’t give him ideas, or do you really want him to put even more boring stuff into this chapter…?’
‘…point…’

19. -… and eventually, we reached level 10 again… awwwww, you know what that means, no more music *snif*…-

20. -…. And moar business! This time we have a bowling alley!...-

21. -… complete with a food stand… we didn’t have those for a while…-

22. -… and the first one to try the food - probably for the first time in her life – is Granddaughter-2, whom, as I realized, is so far
the probably least mentioned one of Daughter-1’s kids, we don’t even have a nickname for her yet…!-

23. -… hm, so aside from liking chubby chefs, she also seems to like bowling…-

24. -… and winning… hm… not really finding something that fits...wait!... Bowling = *drumroll* Lebowski! –
‘Oh no…nononoNONONO!...’
‘Yep, I’m gonna call you… Maude! It fits because… ehrm… she wore greenish on her first appearance… actually, she didn’t
wear anything at first, but that’s beside the point…-
‘Seriously?! You nickname me on such a flimsy connection?!’
-… Bunny? Wore green first too…-
‘… Maude it is…’
-… and with this little subplot of nicknaming all of Rose’s children we now return to our regularly scheduled program….-

25. -… of business leveling… and level 5 again…-

26. -… so it’s home again, move out Couple U-4… and I just realized, that by now, we have actually moved out the entire U-
Household…-
‘U-Household? We were never a household, just couples you named after the same scheme as before… U-1, U-2 etc…’
-… okay, okay, you are right…. Still, it fits and in the end you are all one big dysfunctional family called ‘Disc’, the naming of
the household makes it just easier to distinguish you, since you don’t really have personalities…-
‘HEY!’
-… with exceptions, okay?...

27. -… anyway, time to activate Servo T-3…-

28. -… and Serva T-3…-

29. -… and then we’re back at the bowling alley, with Pottery, sewing, additional skills, Orangeade, business perks…-
‘*Chug* Should we complain, that he rushes even more with us?...’
‘Oh kids – don’t worry, you’ll get your character eventually.. Right, Mrs. … uhm, what was your name again?’
*MRRRROWR* (hisses angrily)
-… nuff said… btw, Mrs. Tubbypuffs…-

30. -… we also got another prize for this great bowling hall…-

31. -… and then made it to level 10 again… sooo…-

32. -… next business…-

33. -… and this time, it’s a roller rink with a restaurant… note: because I thought that there should be at least one toilet, I placed
a piece of CC here, the All-in-One Bathroom, a TS3 conversion by Veranka… since none of the Sims ever actively used the
bathroom and I only have Servos here, the Cheat factor is rather small, it only saves space once more…-

34. -… in any case, right from the start, we could easily persuade customers to eat stuff…-

35. -… and we didn’t even need to persuade somebody to use the roller rink, they actually did that autonomously… well,
perhaps not as much as we would like but… oh well…-

36. -… of course, we also got a prize for this fine establishment…-

37. -… in fact, we got the prize several times…-

38. -… ending up with 3 prizes, all nicely stapled to the wall…-

39. -… and our customers were also smitten by the good service…-

40. -… we also had a record of two people actually doing rounds on the roller rink…-

41. -… and then we reached level 5 again…-

42. -… so we went home once again, move Couple T-1 out, activated Couple T-4…-
‘Wait, wait, wait… I know, it’s boring – and so are you…’
- HEY! -
‘… but is it really necessary to even cut out the ‘Move Out’ scene or activating each Servo individually…?’
‘… to be honest, I’m not opposed to it… what about you, Serva-friend?’
‘Me neither… in the end, nobody wants to see this anyway, so does it even matter what happens? Let’s just go over to the
roller rink again, learn business perks, potter and sew, all that stuff…’

43. -… and so we did and at the end we had Orangeade…-
‘*Chug* *Chug* *Chug*… man I wish these could be fermented…’
-… Yeah, that’s what everybody said so far, but not gonna happen… you can pretend if you want…-
‘Nah, I’m good…’

44. -… and we also got another prize…-

45. -… before we hit level 10 again… I missed taking a pic of the last costumer star, but here – complete perk set…!-

46. -.. So it’s time for the next one…-
‘Short question… originally, this whole thing was flimsy angle to stop Servo S-4 by creating an opposing force, and the extra
businesses meant spreading the word against him or so… is that still running or have we already dismissed that as silly?’
- Hm?... Oh nonono, this is still all because of the thing you just said, our goals haven’t changed… now buy the next
business…-
‘*Sigh*’

47. -… and this time, we have an indoor basketball court…-

48. -… complete with an underground stair leading to the showers after an enticing match, surrounded by the trophies for the
winners.. or losers…-

49. -… with the showers itself helping to overcome any dirt or sweat a heated match leaves…-
‘… is that a joke or what?’

50. -… btw, in hood view, the communal showers are directly under the train track…-
‘Yech – the thought of it alone makes me sick… then again, the showers are so bad, who’d want to shower here anyway?...’
- Oh shut up…-

51. -… and start selling refreshments to the visitors, before the game starts…-
‘There. Is. No. game. That. Could. start.’
- Well, better start selling then, to keep the guests occupied until we organize players that can game…-

52. -… and so we sold and sold and sold and…

53. -…. Got a prize… See? It’s a great business, even without a game…-
‘You know – nobody here cares winning this argument with you…’
-… well, okay then…-

54. -… we reached level 5 anyway, so it’s time to go home and…-
‘OH MY….!’
-… *sigh* what is it now…?-

‘Your oh-so-great showers rooms just decapitated someone!’
-… ehrmm… I blame society… besides, it’s her own fault, she wasn’t even dressed like a player! ONLY PLAYERS are allowed
entrance! Somebody please file a lawsuit against her relatives, we’ll sue for damaging the wall…-
‘… let’s just go home and hope she respawns later…’

56. -… and upon return, after the T-2 Couple moved out, we activated the next group… this time Ultimata and TCO both
activated the new household member, Servo and Serva V-1…-

57. -… and then TCO had to go to work once more…-

58. -… and so was it Ultimata’s job once more to transfer business perks…-

59. -… and then skills, Pottery, sewing, Orangeade….-

60. -… and upon opening this time, we actually had players… Yeah, let’s get ready to rumble!-
‘This isn’t a box… oh whatever, might as well shoot some hoops…-

61. -… and eventually, we reached level 10 again…-
‘Next business, rinse and repeat, different silliness, same warehouse shell…’
- HAHA – wrong!...-

62. -… because this time, instead of the usual 2x2 template, we took a 3x2 template of the warehouse – see, it has two more
window rows then the earlier ones - to finish this side of the warehouse front…-

‘… and on the inside, this time we have… *drumroll*…-

63. -…. And Indoor Soccer Stadium, Yay! –
‘… you don’t even like soccer, why are you so happy about it?’
-…. Ehrmm…-
‘This is another ‘ I ran out of ideas, so anything goes…’ – thing again, right?’
- … you can’t prove that…-
‘… and are these the same shower rooms on the other side with the decapitating stairs again?’
-… everybody’s a critic…-

64. ‘… *sigh* okay, so let’s open up this circus...’

65. ‘… than shoot some goals, pretending this is some kind of big game, and that we would actually have visitors yahooing and
whatever…’

66. ‘:… and business level 5, hooray…’

‘Yeah, we all have to carry our burden… can we go home yet?’

67. -… and so we returned home, and after moving out couple U-2 - no ‘You too’ jokes please – we activated Servo and Serva V-

68. -… so we returned, had our date, our business perks, our additional skills…-

69. -… our Orangeade…-

70. -…. And then it was back to raising the business level, while making Link look bad both as a wizard in his ugly green jumpsuit
and as a soccer player…-

71. -… and once more, we reached level 10…-

72. -… and then immediately bought the next business…-

73. -… this time on the other side of the row house, right next to Fisk’s bar, which made it necessary to adjust the Deco a bit…
…hm, you’ll go to be set free after all, Mr. Babbity Dad…-

-… okay, whatever… back to our newest acquisition…-

74. -… an Ice Rink! –
‘… so basically it is the Ice version of the roller rink, right?’
-Yeesss, but this time look at the intricate way , the cold of the room is preserved by cutting off the garage door entries by
adding attics and fences over there…-
‘Do we even need to ridicule you? You’re doing a great job yourself…’
-… just go and man the restaurant, will ya…?-

75. -… and get prizes for it…-

76. -… many, many prizes…-

77. -… heck, we even got a respectable number of restaurant goers – 3 in a row is amazing!...-

78. -… and once again, we reached level 5… thanks for the tip, Link…-

79. -… so time to go home/move out/activate Servo and Serva V-3…-

80. -…. And the usual skilling/leveling/badging again…-
‘Hm, Ice cold Orangeade… doesn’t actually taste that bad…’

81. -… and after that it was more leveling, more prizes…-

82. -… oh, and unlike the roller rink, the ice rink was much more frequented… we also had fewer slips than with the roller
skates… well perhaps because no one uses real roller skates anymore, only inline skates…-

83. -… whatever, level 10, yay or whatever… man, even I was bored at this point…-
‘So you’ll stop? Pretty Please??’
-… and leave the neighborhood to Servo S-4? Never! –
‘What does that even have to do with this anymore??!!!’
- Ssssh, less talking, more buying…-

84. -… this time it’s a Public Pool!...-
‘WE. ARE. SERVOS!!!’
-… and…-
*Mental breakdown*

85. -… sheesh, cry baby… at least you broke down in the right spot, near the sauna/massage table area…-

86. -… shower’s and changing rooms’ on the other side, btw…-

87. -… and despite the usual quarrel, even Servos liked the clean environment…-

88. -… as did the Bigfeet… so big fella, care to jump into the pool?-
‘I don’t jump into pools, the time it takes my hair to dry would be weeks…’
‘… but you do at least shower, right?’
‘Shower?’
-… *sigh*, at least go get a massage…-

89. -… and give him a big bottle of rose oil or anything that can mask the stench this guy must be emitting by now….-

90. -… while in the meantime, other less timid guests actually started using the pool…. Yep, that’s the first guest doing so… and
that’s just short before business level 5…-

91. -… which we then reached in this level…. Just before Granddaughter-2 makes her second appearance… you know, you’re
lucky, we did the bowling first, otherwise, I might have called you Bunny after all, Maude…-
‘*deadly glare*’
‘Hey, why don’t we Servos get any nicknames? That’s discrimination… in which case, we might vote for Servo S-4 after all…’
- … wow, pulling the discrimination card and threatening in the same sentence, how nice… fine, then I call you ‘Mean
Blackmailer’ and S-4 is now ‘Simler’… done! Any more requests?...-
‘… just forget I ever said anything…’
- See? It’s nice getting along so well…-

92. -… so it’s one more time back to the Power Plant, where TCO is finally back from work, then move out – Couple V-1, was it?
– then activate Servo and Serva V-4 – yep, that’s the last of the 24 Servos we activated in this update…-

93. -… and then Business Perks, Skills, Pottery/Sewing, Orangeade one last time...-

94. -… and then it’s back to raising the business… oh hello, Rose!...Just wanted to tell you, we came up with names for your kids:
Your daughters are now – in numerical order - Maude, Penny, Caitlin and Malphaba and your sons Nino, Roger and Arthur…-
‘… my apologies, he just came up with this insanity right after the ‘Stop Servo S-4’ plot…’
‘ Oh, that’s okay, it was only a matter of time… also, I’m the one who has to apologize to you – I mean, I’m happy how much
Dad has changed, but I should have tried a little harder to get you back into his good graces…’
‘Nah – I already had a talk with him, everything’s well again…’
‘Good… still, if you need help against the mayor…’
‘Nah, we’re good…opposed voters and all that… besides, I have a feeling, that you – or rather your kids – will already help…’

95. -… and with this little chat – and a little foreshadowing to the future…-

96. -… and then she even jumped into the pool, because all Plantsims like to swim in the water…-

98. -… one more business… like the soccer field it’s 3x2 for a change… and it’s…-

99. -… an indoor Dog show, with a small shop for everything dog related, from puppies over breeds to all other pet items… the
main attraction however are of course the Dog Show items, converted from the Sims 2 Standalone game Pet Stories to the
main game by Rebecah at affinitysims.com and then made recolorable by Fractured moonlight and Shastakiss at
gardenofshadows.com, the starter and finish rug can be found at simblrday.com…-
‘Great. We have no dogs, and you can’t order people to use this…another completely pointless lot…let’s get this over with…’

100. ‘… Hey, wanna buy a dog? Yes? Well, too bad, we’ve reached level 5, so come back, when we need more stars… okay done –
everyone now got all the money perks, no need to get to level 10 with this… close the chapter and be done with it…!’
-… Wow, not sooo fast…-

101. -… first, let’s give a heartfelt goodbye to Mosh Spicy Harbor – I didn’t expect, that I would add so many Community lots to
this deco harbor after all… also, I added some more deco, a few sky and water items by Psychosim (it is his harbor after
all…)…-

102. -… and then it’s moving out time again – only this time, we move out 3 couples! V-2, V-3 and V-4….-

103. -… everyone say goodbye…-

104. -… and TA-DA! 12 Servo Couples, all equipped with maximum skills, ready to move in again…-
‘HOLD IT! You know, I thought I would be the last one to say this, but – you forgot something…!’
-… hm? No I’m sure, we did everything to prep them for the upcoming elections to… Oh….-

105. -…yep, I forgot about this… magic powers! What better way to survive election day…?-

106. -… okay, if somebody still remembers, last season, the C household transformed a number of Servo into witches and
warlocks. At that time I wanted to transform one Servo/Serva per household…-

107. now while we don’t households per se this time, we have them addressed T to V, so this means, 3 Servos/Servas will be
chosen for becoming witches/warlocks….-

108. -… and while teleporting them all over and then transforming them was surprisingly easy…-

109. -… the big problem was once again the aspiration drop…-

110. -… and while two of them went through the ordeal rather unscathed…-

111. -… we had one nervous breakdown after all… oh well, she’s a Serva, she’ll survive it, and if everything fails, we still have
strawberry lemonade…-

112. -… now with the last obstacle out of the way, we were now ready to move on to step 2 of the plan ‘Opposed Voters vs. Servo
S-4’… yes, this was all step 1 so far…-

113. -… and move them in… actually, we moved the U-1 household from the beginning right back into our Disc/Servo-
Household…thankfully, Servo U-1 hadn’t suffered so much from turning into a warlock… -

114. -… while the other members of the U-couples moved into the other apartments of the Nuclear Power Plant…-

115. -… and since they all were considered to move in during summer, we actually had to break out the weather machines, to
prematurely send them into winter…-

116. -… okay, taken care of the U household… or -couples, who cares…-

117. -… we moved the T household/couples into the harbor, the T-1 household actually moving in with Rose’s Sons and
daughters…-
‘Umm… should we have asked their permission first?’
‘Sssh, don’t you see, they’re meditating! Better keep quiet for now, we can ask them later…’

118. -… while the rest moved into the other apartments…-

119. -… and while this time, the season was correctly positioned at fall, we once more used weather machines to move forward
to winter…-

120. -… and finally, it was time for the V-Couples to move in, this time in Numa Key…-

121. -… of course, once again, we moved in in summer…-

122. -… so a switch to winter was needed again…-

123. -… oh, and thankfully our breakdown from before, Serva V-2, actually moved into Rose’s apartment... I guess, as a fellow
magic user she can help her to cope with this state…-
‘… and again, apologies – he just moves us in without any consent…’
‘Nonono – it’s okay, I do like the company – plus, everything that helps your counter campaign against S-4… I just hope, that
your other brethren will have as much luck with my brother when moving in…’

124. -… yeah, that was in fact a problem, when Couple V-3 moved into the Disc/Son household… thankfully, the kids, being as
cute as they were innocent towards most things happening in the city, accepted the Servo’s right away – after all, they could
show off their bowing skills they’d acquired from their Eastern trip to them…-

125. -… of course, there was still the problem with…-
‘HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY APARTMENT?!!’
‘Apologies, Mr. Son-1… I admit, it was a bit keen, just moving in…’
‘Damn right you think it was… OUT!!’
‘Awww, Dad… can’t we keep them? And can’t we keep this cute little doggie here too…?’
‘NO!!’
‘Waaaah…. Daddy doesn’t love us anymore… *Cries*… !’
‘*Mumble* Oh dangit… need to be careful… this is probably a secret code to make these alien sleeper agents go rampant..!‘

126. ‘….waaaah….*still cries*…’
‘NRRRGH… okay, okay, you can stay! Do you hear me: STAY!’
‘YAY! DADDY’S THE GREATEST!!’
‘Thank you, Mr. Son-1 – and here, as a token of our gratitude…’
‘*hands over ownership to the Dog Show…*’
‘… you’ve got to be kidding me! I said, you can stay, I never agreed to the dog…!’

127. ‘Rrrgh… Okay, okay, the dog can stay too… !’

‘What?! I said, he can stay…!’
‘ BUT HE RAN AWAAAAAY….YOU SCARED HIM, DAD….. WAAAAAAAAAAAH!’
‘OH FOR… Here, doggy, doggy, doggy… come to poppa! Come on, you ugly flea bag, come back….!’
-… and with that, the matter was resolved, Servo and Serva U-3 became a part of the Disc/Son (or rather now U-3)
Household… -

128. -… and while we’re almost at an end to this chapter, one more thing happened: TCO and Ultimata moved out of the Nuclear
Power Plant again…-
‘Not the least bit sad doing that…’

129. -…. Leaving the former Disc/Servo household to Serva and Servo U-1, who then stayed here until winter began…-

130. -…While TCO and Ultimata decided it was time to go home…-

131. -… to help Professor Disc with raising his new batch of kids…-

132. -… and that’s it! We made it to the end of the Disc/Servo Household, and WOWSA! The Population Counter actually made a
jump from last chapter – we made it to over 15.000 Inhabitants! And my game hasn’t exploded yet! And while this second
part might have involved lots of grinding again, I liked putting up these businesses – okay, perhaps I just had the Counter in
mind, true, but still… -
- … And yet, we’re still not completely finished, because….-

133. -… adding all these households opened up 2 more slots for unowned Community businesses! Yep, I’m insatiable… also I like
to experiment, so for these last 2 lots, we went once more to our Ocean Hood Coral island…-

134. -… where my first addition involved raising a second island out of the water with the neighborhoodmodification cheat, then
placing a bit of deco there….-

135. -… and then add a small 1x1 Community lot to the main island…-

136. -… which I then moved via the lot adjuster over to the little island, removing the street to it in the process…-

137. -… and that’s how the result looked in lot view… yep, nothing underneath the island…-

138. -… and that’s how it looked with the deco in lot view on… now originally, I had planned to leave it at that, but creativity
coupled with dissatisfaction crept in…-

139. -… but before that happened, I finally came up with another idea how to spice up this ocean hood… for example, I used
these waterfall animations that produce a nice looking rainbow and actually came with the base game, but were hidden
until Numenor found them… turns out, they produce these nice sparkle and rainbow effects on the Ocean too…-

140. -… and after this, I also equipped the hood with a sky projector by Nimi and an ocean surface recolor by Gwenke…-

141. -… and that’s how it looked… but back to our new community lot…-

142. -… which, with all these additions to the hood, I finally had an idea for, so I enlarged the original lot and made it a Tribal
Village/Hidden temple hood – with a balloon(!) no less…-

143. -… and that’s how it looks with deco on…-

144. -… oh and btw, the balloon, which can even go up and down, was made again by Rebecah… though I am proud that for
once, I made a recolor of something, where the recolour doesn’t make me want to throw up…-
‘sea sickness tablets, right…?’
-... Shut up, inner critic…-

145. -…rather watch this beautiful Ocean hood with its countless rainbows…-
‘Rainbows indicate, that we have a lot of rainfall here, right…?’
-… oh whatever, where almost through…-

146. -… so moving on to our last unowned lot, this time it’s the submarine restaurant by !jolien… forgot to take a pic of the
unchanged lot in my hood, so I just used the pic from the original post at mts.com…-

147. -…of course, for the hood, I once again removed all the CC included with the download to avoid gamesplosion… – looks still
pretty, right?...-

148. -…and then I used the level adder by Mootilda to raise the lot above the original ground, until it was floating in the air… I
then bulldozed the surface, placed the lot in hood and then moved it via Lotadjuster and hood replacer around in Coral
Island, until it was positioned just below the Ocean’s water line… lots of trials and errors and game saves, folks….-

149. -… and I also learned, that your normal lot camera can’t scroll below the water line… so not possible to get closer for this
shot, need to research camera mods later… thanks for testing the lot anyways, Professor Disc…..-
‘Oh, so that’s why I’m suddenly in a submarine which is a restaurant… I almost thought I turned insane…’
-… yeah, yeah whatever…-

150. -… so finally, with this last pretty distorted shot to get the Submarine and everything else in Coral Island on one Pic, the
story of this household’s fall chapters actually comes to an end… It took quite some time again to get here, but I’m
nonetheless proud of the accomplishment…-
‘Oh yes, you are sooo great… just imagine what would have happened if you didn’t do this… I mean, you could have done
such things as go out, learn a new language, actually get some friends, achieve something of worth…’
-… or finally start to rid of my inner critic for good, so that in the future I could avoid this conversation! –
