6.  The common feature that most K pop magazine has an image of the artist that fills a ½ of the page that
shows the artist that they are going to interview, this allows the audience to see who they are going to
interview and know what they look like. The images are usually medium long shots of the artist in
fashionable clothes. In addition, their name would be displayed somewhere on the page to indicate who
they are but also promote themselves to the public through the music magazine.
 They would use an interview to start off their magazine, this is effective because it can let the reader
understand what kind of artist they should expect to read about in a magazine. Interviews can keep the
readers interested in the magazine because they would want to know more about the artist. The
questions are mostly focused on introducing the artist, their album successes and their life experiences.
These questions allows the reader to understand and engage with the artist, which helps to intrigue the
reader into buying the magazine thus making it a successful feature to have in a music magazine.
 The layout is in two columns that highlights the speaker’s name. This format is easy to read and clear to
look at which will help make the appearance of the magazine come across as more professional and
organised.

7.  To improve my magazine double page spread I will take inspiration from these model magazines.
 I will make sure that the images I use for the double page would be a medium long shot with the artist in fashionable
clothes to show that the K pop music industry is trendy and full of youth. The image would also be taking up about ½
of the page to captivate my readers and allow them to know who the interview is about, also it is a frequently used
article in a K pop magazine which shows that it is effective topic to start off a magazine.
 To make my magazine more interesting I would use a pull quote that will be positioned near the image with the artist
name below. This feature will interest the reader and inform them of who the artist is at the same time which is an
efficient technique to gain the readers attention quickly. By doing so, the reader will be more likely to buy my
magazine because they would be curious about what the magazine contains.
 By doing this research I can take inspiration on what kind of questions I should ask to allow the magazine interview to
be more involving for the reader as well as inform them of the important details about the artist. In addition, I would
present my interview in 2 columns with the speaker’s name highlighted so that the reader can differentiate who is
talking in the article.
 Lastly, I would include an artist profile to the right hand side of the article in a column. The information can inform the
reader of the artist’s identity and personal trivia. I think that this is useful because I’m introducing a new idol that has
just debut in UK, with this information the readers can comprehend who the idol is quicker and it can help promote
this new artist to the public in a faster manner.
