6. Keys On Keyboard
Types of keys on a computer keyboard:
•Alphanumeric keys – Consist of letters and
numbers.( A-Z and 0-9)
•Punctuation keys – Include punctuation &
mathematical operators.
• Special keys – Include function keys, control keys,
arrow keys, caps lock key, delete key, etc.

7. Special keys on Keyboard
• Alt key – Short for Alternate, this key is like a second control key.
• Arrow Keys – Four arrow keys that enable you to move the cursor
up, down, right, or left.
• Backspace key – Deletes the character backward
• Caps Lock Key- Causes all alphabetic characters to be uppercase.
• Ctrl key – Short for Control, used in combinations with other keys
to produce control characters.
• Enter Key – move the cursor to the beginning of the next line.
• Esc Key – Short for Escape, this key is used to exit from programs
and tasks.
• Function Keys – F1 to F12.
