The document outlines initial ideas for filming locations and costumes for a music video. It proposes filming dance scenes in a dance studio with spotlights, as well as scenes at a swimming pool, beach, pier, abandoned house, and while driving or getting out of a car. The locations are chosen to be visually interesting and match different parts of the song. Costume changes between dance scenes are also discussed, including all red outfits, all denim looks, and flashy stylish ensembles with diamonds and sequins. The goal is to have varied, professional-looking locations and costumes to engage viewers.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
2. Locations:
We want to use a variety of different locations so that it is more interesting for the viewer and isn't boring or repetitive.
One of chosen ideas to film is in the DDS (dance, drama studio) when filming the dance scenes so that it is a blacked-out
room and having spot lights and flashing flights. This will be effective due to it being abstract.
We also decided to film some scenes in a swimming pool and a car. These will both be small parts of the video as they
haven't got much meaning but is visually pleasing. In the swimming pool, we want it to be dark with flashing lights and
having beach balls or glowing balloons. We will focus on the actors face and hair. There makeup will look professional and
their hair will be wet. In the car, we will film them getting out of the car and film their feet coming out. We will also film
them driving.
We had the idea of film some scenes at a beach. This could be eitherWhistable, Broadstairs or in the brick fields in lower
halstow. We want to film this at night with a spot light. We will lip sync here and make it girly to give a girl band feel. As
well as this, we suggested filming at dockside on the pier so that we can have lights around it and making it focus on the
specific actor.
We have decided that we will film in an abandoned house. We are going to put lights all around there and having glow
sticks in there. This is abstract and incises the audience.
3. At the start of the song, there is dynamic beats in the music. During this, we have decided that we are going to edit clips in
different locations to fit the timing of the music. This is effective because it looks visually pleasing for the audience and
draws them in.
For the chorus, the music becomes more intense and dynamic. For this, we are going to make this a key moment when
dancing as it is more climatic so the dancing can be upbeat and interesting. We are going to film dance scenes inside and
outside as well to vary our locations.
We also came up with the idea of having the actors lip synch a song and other actors being cut into it and finishing the
sentences. This will be effective as it will all blend together and give of a girl band feel. As well as this, we are going to make
sure that our clips overlap so that they blend together and that there are no dodgy cuts.
We thought of using sparklers when outside late at night as it is visually effective for the audience as they will be intrigued as
it is different. This relates to our target audience too as they like watching exciting videos.
Costumes
We have decided that we want to have different costume changes as we want it to stand out and look professional. For
example, when dancing, we want to cut between the dances and edit them together in different costumes.
Look one:
We are going to wear all red. For example, red leotards, red tops, red lace and red silk.
Look two:
All denim. For example, jackets, jeans,. Skirts, denim heels and chokers.
Look three:
Something flashy and stylish. For example, diamonds, dresses, sequins, heels and bold colours.
