2. Storyline:
 The initial storyline for my horror opening is a
distressed main character having a reoccurring
nightmare of two young girls from a different era. To
keep track of the nightmare taking place, the main
character writes it down in her diary every time. The
main character does not have any knowledge about
the dream or why she keeps having it until she starts
to looking into it more and find out why the dream
relates to her.

3. Opening:
 The opening will be full of action because I want the
start to be where everything takes place, whereas
normally the opening establishes characters &
relationships then the middle something occurs then
the ending explains. However I want something to
occur at the start of my film and then the rest to
explain it.

 Fear of unknown

5. Characters & roles:
 Main character: A young ordinary women sleeping in her
bed, she appears to become distressed when she keeps
having a reoccurring nightmare. To keep track of the
nightmare she will write it in her diary & she doesn’t
understand why she keeps having the dream or why it
relates to her, she decides to find out more about the
dream. The nightmare becomes more & more controlling
and starts to take over her life, she becomes scared to
leave the house and starts to hear the girls speaking to
her.
 Other characters: Two young children (Girls) who will be
the main focus of the nightmare, they will be portrayed as
evil rather than the stereotypical sweet & innocent child.

6. Ideas for costume, make-up
& locations:
 Main character: pink, girly
pyjamas. Messy hair,
natural make-up & slightly
dark eyes to show
tiredness.
 Two little girls: old fashion
white dresses, evil dark
eyes, hair in plaits with
ribbon & pale skinned.
 Somewhere with no or very
few surroundings.
 The location needs to fit in with
the scary, evil atmosphere.
 Also the location has to be
easy to access due to the
amount of equipment I will be
taking.
 People can not be on the
location while filming, therefore
it can not be a busy public
place.
