This document invites the reader to become a partner in a solar energy programme and provides information about the programme's goals, partners, and research lines. The goals are to reduce production costs for large-scale manufacturing of PV panels with a 30-year service life starting in 2020, and to strengthen the Dutch solar energy sector leading to 10,000 new jobs and a 4 billion Euro turnover by 2020. The research lines focus on developing higher efficiency bifacial, back-contact, and hybrid tandem cells and modules, as well as perovskite solar cells and modules and their manufacturing processes.
