Nuclear weapons derive their destructive force from nuclear fission or fusion reactions, making even small nuclear weapons significantly more powerful than conventional explosives and able to destroy an entire city. There are two types of nuclear weapons: atomic bombs, which use fission to provide explosive energy, and hydrogen bombs, which are 1,000 times more powerful due to additional nuclear fusion reactions.

Every second 39 atomic bombs of ‘little boy’ size are dropped. One can see the large amount of bombing taking place on the earth by artificial radioactivity and the bombing should be stopped and further analysis of artificial radioactivity should also be done

- 2. MASS DESTRUCTION • Weapons of mass destruction (WMD) are weapons which brings a huge loss to life , property and environment. The term covers several weapon types, including nuclear, biological, chemical and also radiological weapons. There is a controversy over when the term was first used, either in 1937 or 1945.
- 3. NUCLEAR ACCIDENTS • A nuclear weapon is a type of explosive weapon that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions of fission or a combination of fission & fusion. As a result, even a nuclear weapon with a small yield is significantly more powerful than the largest conventional explosives, and a single weapon is capable of destroying an entire city.
- 4. NUCLEAR WEAPONS • There are two types of nuclear weapons. The first are weapons which provide their explosive energy through nuclear fission. These are known colloquially as atomic bombs. • The second type of nuclear weapon produces a large amount of its energy through nuclear fusion reaction and it is 1000 times powerful than fission bombs. These are known as hydrogen bombs.
