To import members to your private network on the NHS Networks website, you will need to collect their names and email addresses in a CSV file. You can then use the import function to either register new users by creating accounts for them and sending login details, or to add existing users to your private network by uploading the CSV file. Members who are imported will automatically receive email alerts from that network.

• Go to www.networks.nhs.uk
• Log in
• Click on Your menu, click on Your networks
• Click on the name of your network

3. To import members you will need your members’
names and email addresses. If you have a private
network, the import function is the only way to enrol
members.
Import members has two functions – the first is to
register users who are not registered to the NHS
Networks website. This will create an account for them
and send an email with their login details.
The second function is to add new members to your
network. Members will receive a confirmation email.

4. • Add the users’ names and email addresses to an
Excel spreadsheet
• Save the Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file
• Upload the CSV file to the documents folder.

5. • Go to the toolbox and select Network admin tools
• Click Import members
• Click Add members
• You will receive a confirmation email once all of the
members have been added. Members that are
imported to networks will automatically receive
email alerts from that network.
