Wilson is a crime boss in 1960s England who runs drugs, guns, and other illegal activities through much of the country. He has caught wind that a Detective McCoy has been reporting back to authorities with plans to shut down Wilson's operations. Wilson confronts McCoy, who insults Wilson for being a minority, so Wilson punches him. Another man, McKenzie Gray, witnesses the exchange. Wilson then shoots and kills Detective McCoy, asserting his power and control over the region.

1966. East Midlands are up to their neck in racism. Ever since I came here, I’ve been the outsider. Now, things

Drugs, guns, the pigs. They all go through me. However, I’ve caught a rat in the sewer.

What is this I hear about you reporting back to the crown. I thought we had a good system going here. We had
a deal.
DETECTIVE MCCOY
I’m sick and tired of the minority thinking they run this country.
WILSON punches DETECTIVE MCCOY in the face. Freeze frame on DETECTIVE MCCOY.
WILSON (NARRATION)
This here is Detective McCoy. This low life scum is known as the best detective there is in the East Midlands.
The deal was that he kept his mouth shut, and his family were okay. Word on the street was that he was
planning to shut down everything I had ever worked for. Hard to do whilst you’re six feet under, isn’t that right
you bastard pig.
MCKENZIE GRAY
