1. IMPERATIVES
The imperative is used to give:
 Commands and orders. examples:
Turn right. Sit down!
We use the base form of the verb, with no subject.
Walk to the corner.
Don’t speak
Let’s have fun

3. Uses of imperatives:
 To give an order
- Go away.
- Keep quiet!
 To give instructions
- Park your car here.
- Take out your book and open it.
 To give advice and warning
- be careful!
- don’t go on the ice.
 To make invitations
- Have a piece of cake.
- Let’s go to the party.
 To give directions
- walk to the corner, turn right,
and cross the road.
