The Employability Trust is a charity based in Peterlee that aims to help young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEETs) throughout the region secure sustainable employment. Since starting over 2 years ago, they have helped 69 people into paid employment and over 3,700 people access training and facilities. Their 8-week Destination Employment programme provides real work experience and has helped 94% of completed candidates achieve sustainable employment in the past year.

The Employability Trust is a charity based in
Peterlee that aims to help NEET’s throughout the
region to secure sustainable employment. Our
15,000 sq ft offer real work experience through
contracts with local organisations. This work
enables the young people to gain actual work
experience in warehousing, manufacturing and
fulfilment whilst helping the local economy to
become flexible and efficient.

years has joined us as an RTITB accredited Fork Lift
Instructor. Craig completed the Destination
Employment programme before we were able to
secure funding to complete his instructor training.
