 The Obama Administration's unwillingness
to enforce the law is a disgrace.
 Our borders need to be secured.
 No universal amnesty.
 Deny illegal immigrants benefits reserved for
taxpayers,such as welfare and in-state tuition.
 Legal immigration is good and an integral part
of our nationalidentity.
 English should be the USA's official language.
Points of Disagreement
Federal power should be asserted over
local and state authorities to make them
prioritize enforcement of immigration
law.1
The federal government already
exercises too much power over the
states. Such measures would barely
scratch the surface of the illegal
immigration problem anyway.
Opposes exceptions for those brought
here as children.2
Even if they speak
English as their first language and do not
remember their countryof origin,that is
irrelevant.
Supports the DREAM Act, which extends
residencystatus to those brought here as
children who have graduated from high
school and who demonstrate good moral
character.
Opposesexpansion of H1-B visa

Feels that the practice is unfair
for American workers.
Supports expansion of H1-B visa
issuance. Anyone who claims to support
free trade and market economics cannot
be against the free flow of labor.If
citizens are not competitive,we must
invest in retrainingthem.
No clear plan for going after employers
of illegal immigrants.
Reforms including the following:
 Expand and expedite programs
rewardingthose who report illegal
hiring.
 Tackle identitytheft by modernizing
Social Security identificationwith a
chip-and-PIN system.
Border patrol responsibility should be
officially given to militias.4
Reallocate federal resources to the
border. Militias havearisen to patrol the
border as a result of government
negligence and are not a long-term
solution.
Ultimately expects to kick out all 12
million illegal immigrants, regardless of
the feasibilityofsuch an undertakingor
the adverse economic repercussions.
Proposes limited and conditional
amnesty.

 No felons.
 No welfare benefits.
 Assess a fine.
 Tax them like other workers.
